We've all got them, those little items that we just don't feel comfortable without, things that we may use every day, or only very rarely, but we just want them handy whenever the situation does arise.

With me, gadget lover that I am, it's my Leatherman Wave Multitool (for those unfamiliar with it, the Wave is something like a Swiss Army knife based around a set of folding needle nose pliers) It's proved its worth on countless occasions by tightening screws, cutting cord or wire, and once at church, it unlocked the organ keyboard cover (don't ask me how they managed to lock it in the first place without having a key) thereby saving the Christmas Cantata.

So, what's your "don't leave home without" item that's always in your pocket or purse (and, please, folks, let's keep it clean)

iPod, wallet and keys.
I can do without the wallet and, though it makes me edgy, if someone's home I might leave the keys.
But the iPod, oh no, can't go anywhere without my iPod. I feel naked whenever I attempt it. Listening to the meaningless drone of strangers? No thank you. My aunt usually complains that constantly wearing headphones makes me "inaccessible" but yeah, eh - that's the plan!

Most of the time I will also bring a book but if I don't want to carry stuff I might skip that too (though it's almost as hard as leaving the iPod behind, pictures tell me I even brought a book to my own graduation 😛)

I have to take wallet and Keys.

But I can't leave without my phone, if I have forgotten it, I feel like I'm missing an arm, I hate it!

But my Keys have a bottle opener on it, which has proven handy numerous times!

I've added stuff to my car, which I like to keep there. I've found it handy to have spare Tshirts in the car (Im very clumsy) and alcohol encase of an emergency party situation (places stop selling alcohol after 10:30, so been caught a few times after that time when a plan suddenly arises!)

My ipod is the most important thing. At work or just walking around. I'm not a people person so it's a good way to drown out the monotony. Credit/Debit card too since I can pointlessly spend money like a pro. A good book or comic and my phone and laptop.

Well, besides the usual, as keys, wallet and phone, I never leave my house without chapStick and hand disinfection. I the chapstick like 10 ten times a day, and the hand disinfection atleast one. 🙂

I used to be addicted to applying medicated chapstick!
I always have my cell phone, keys (I'm usually driving), and wallet. I usually carry a messenger-type bag full of supplies I could need (pen, paper, bag of quarters, chapstick). I always keep hand sanitizer, a jacket, and phone charger in my car (and occasionally a change of clothes).

Cell phone (which is a smart phone so I can get my emails)
iPod (audio book addict)
Kindle (if I'm going anywhere where I might possibly have a few minutes of down time)

I love gadgets!

I got addicted to audiobooks back when I was spending hours a day on the road
My bag. Pretty much everything I need is in it.

Lipgloss, blush, mirror, brush and that thing to curl your eyelashes
Phone
Ipod
Wallet, money & creditcards
Keys
Sunglasses
Girlthings I need once a month 😉

I like to think that I travel light, but I never go anywhere without a book. I take the bus everywhere, so I have lots of opportunities to read.

Is it true to can tell a lot about a girl by the contents of her purse? Hmm.

*rummages through purse*

If so, I bare my soul by revealing the contents:

Phone
Wallet
Address Book
Lip gloss
Jane Eyre
Tissues (allergies, ugh)
Moleskin notebook (for jotting down random inspired scribbles)
Keys

Looks like I'm the only one without an iPod! To be honest, I loathe them. They're so antisocial.

I'm a non-iPod person too.
Unlike most girls, I don't carry a purse. Usually just a wallet and sunglasses on sunny days and my Nintendo DS on long trips, with a new game bought just for the trip.

I don't go anywhere without my bags, LOL.
Wallet and keys.
Usually I also have my phone with me but not always. If it's just a short trip or something I often skip it.

Hate carrying around stuff.

I carry a wallet and keys, but those items are pretty much a given for most folks.

Myself, I would feel completely naked without three things.....a small wraparound backpack, a wristwatch (I go insane if I can't know the time), and a hunting dagger i've owned since forever (that comes from growing up in bad neighborhoods all my life).

I've got a Ka-Bar and a couple of machetes in the trunk of my car, plus a Georgia Concealed Carry Permit for those times when I feel that it's necessary.
Bag, which contains:

Purse
Keys
Fags&Lighter
Phone

as necessities.

& my iPod is hooked up to my car so I always have that with me 🙂

I always forget my stuff :lmao:

Good thing I can't drive yet. I tend to go out of town and if I forgot my ID or money or something like that, I'd be screwed 😛

It depends on where i'm going.

If i bring my bag it's

Purse, house keys, Ipod, phone, makeup, perfume, water and whatever crap is in my bag at the time. haha
Usually i carry light though, i'll just bring what i need, like purse, keys and ipod.;p
