More like one and a half I think. I have the series on dvd and I think season 2 got cancelled after like 6 episodes or something (ironically just as the show was starting to get good...) It's not a brilliant show or anyting though, I kind of wish we would have gotten a Faith spin-off instead even if I can see why Eliza made the choice she did (even if it wasn't the best 😉)
 
IIRC, and I may be wrong about this, but I think that the way the network cancelled TruCalling was a big reason why she was given the chance to make Dollhouse, so in the end it probably worked out well for her, but I think that a Faith spinoff would have been great and probably would have lasted a bit longer, especially when Spike was supposed to be on the show as a recurring character. This was the reason why they shot that scene together in Dirty Girls was to see if Eliza and James had any onscreen chemistry, of which I thought there was plenty.
 
In the final episode of season 2(part 2) Spike choke Drusilla untill she faints. But I alway thought Angel said once to Buffy that he doesn't have to breathe! That didn't make sense for me !!!

I think Mercedes would've made an awesome Buffy! But SMG made an even better one. 🙂
 
I'm actually ok with no Faith spin-off. I loved Tru Calling, while it lasted. Plus, the length of a series on Fox and the quality of said series didn't always match up in those years! I just feel like we'd seen plenty of Faith by this point, and her absence was what made her bouncing between Buffy and Angel work so well. What I really regret is that Ripper never got off the ground. That was a story that was begging to be told.

I had no idea about the whistling in Gone though! I've watched that episode so many times, and never noticed!

I'm just not a Mercedes McNab fan, at all, so for me less Mercedes is always better which is why I can't imagine her as Buffy.

Xander/Spike would have been the perfect storyline for Xander! He'll have to confront his vampire issues and that would have led to interesting Xander/Buffy discussions! God!

Anya should have been Giles' girlfriend and Spike should have been Xander's boyfriend.
 
Only recently (maybe a few months ago) did [MENTION=10812]Ollehh[/MENTION] tell me that when Xander said "Master" .... "bator" he meant to cover up his saying "Master" with saying "Masturbator" lol

Okay, I love Xander and all, but Anya's line: "That's my guy. Always doing the stupid thing." Is much more relevant than Xander's. It really didn't make sense when Xander said it, now I understand.... I think I would have kind of liked the end better like this. Just sayin!

That line really does make a lot more sense when it's about Xander. I have slight issues with the forced acceptance there, but I've just realised that I think it's actually because it's handled in a really clunky way. If the line had been more specific to Anya, I'd have been able to gloss over the lack of realism and just go with the upbeat effect they were trying to create for the final scene. It just always jarred for me, and I think that's actually why.

That said, and keeping in mind that I don't love Xander - whereas my love for Anya is unending - I'd rather the ending we got to Xander's death. If the core four had been violated in the closing moments, it would have been so unsatisfactory. Xander, I couldn't care less about, but I value that relationship way too much to have accepted Joss killing one of them off for no real reason!

Mad Max was a very popular film franchise in the late 70's-80's. It starred Mel Gibson and is basically about a post-Apocalyptic world and the crime that is in it. It is very good, I highly recommend watching it if you get the chance!

So basically, Angel Season 6 was going to be set after the Apocalypse and deal with LA trying to rebuild itself

I think the line works well with both Xander and Anya. "That's my girl" is a proud statement, "Always doing stupid things," that's an endearing statement. By stupid things he meant sacrificing her life for others.

It can also work for Xander. "That's my guy," a proud statement. "Always doing stupid things," so foolishly brave and putting himself in danger for others.

I think it works much better with Xander than Anya. Anya was not always doing the stupid thing. In her earlier appearances, she kept wanting to do the smart thing--run away. Only later on did she want to stay and fight (the stupid thing), which was already pretty much a default mindset in the Scooby Gang. Whereas Xander was constantly doing stupid things. Having no special powers, but continuing to fight with the rest of them, despite the high risk it posed.

Maybe and I agree. Xander has always been more foolish and braver than Anya. Anya has once sacrificed her life for Xander in The Gift, and now she "sacrificed her life for Andrew". And he could also mean other things by "stupid", like dating Xander was a stupid thing, loving Xander was a stupid thing, agreeing to marry Xander was a stupid thing -from Xander's POV.
