Did you see it with the alternative ending, or the less sugary one? Not that it wasn't disappointing anyway, but the alternative ending had me laugh so much that I got tears in my eyes.

regardless, the bbc version trumps it every time.
A lot of horror movies I've looked forward to like Rob Zombie's Halloween remakes & a few other remakes.

The Picture of Dorian Gray with Ben Barnes. All that excitement... all that crushing, oh so crushing disappointment.

The fourth season of Dexter. Not utterly disappointed but disappointed no less.
 
Scream 4 - Probably because I followed it from the day it was revealed they were making it up to it's release, therefore seeing all the teasers and promos and behind the scenes stuff that they ended up cutting from the released version of the movie. I mean, it was good, but it was nowhere near as amazing as it could have been.

Stephen King's "Under the Dome" the whole book was so great and it was building up to be amazing, but the ending was so incredibly blah. It was almost like he just had no idea how to finish it, so he just wrote whatever came first.

Caviar, I mean it's like a rich person thing, and everyone talks about how great it is, right? Well I had the chance to try some, and I was not a fan. Little black fishy balls, they were firm which was weird cause I didn't really expect it, and they like pop open and squirt fishy juice out. All I have to say about them is blech!
 
* The Golden Compass movie -- especially the ending

* Dollhouse -- the second season was better, but I wish it had delved deeper into the social, psychological and ethical ramifications of the concept. And I know that the budget wasn't very big, but more international travel/themes would have been nice.

* The Great Gatsby -- I thought it would have a more 1920's/Jazz Age feel to it, and that there would be more sensuality/sexuality and romance, but there wasn't as much weight to it as I thought there would be. It's well-written, but rather dull through much of it.

* The Harry Potter props and costumes exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago -- I was hoping for more interactive areas, a larger exhibit, and more behind-the-scenes revelations. The props and costumes were cool to look at, but I wasn't too thrilled. Plus, no flash photography 🙁.

I feel that way about most of his endings, he is not a strong finisher.
 
Buffy season 8 comics. Disappointed that much that I stopped reading 'em after 4 issues. I wanted something, anything that will continue the Buffy the Vampire Slayer story, so that the verse would not die and keep living. So while I was very disappointed with how the comic turned out, I'm not sorry it came out. And now I have high hopes for season 9, I hope I won't be disappointed again, because it's supposed to be a little different.
