Most Canadian's live in the south, usually 200 km from the US border. There are a couple little pockets of nice weather. Where I am is among the best, it's the bottom left hand corner when you look at a map. I hear there is an area in Ontario by the great lakes that is pretty warm and Halifax isn't bad either. Maybe @Ethan Reigns can talk more about hot spots over his way.

and you won't need a snow shovel here, not unless you take a trip into the mountains anyway. Skiing at Whistler maybe?
 
@Taake maybe you can plan a trip based on where you're fellow BB'ers live. We can take turns showing you around our towns. That would be fun.

It is quite tempting for me to even consider moving to Canada, I know Canadians are very welcoming and nice people and I'm sure It would be so good!.

I have thought several times on moving there but personal issues never let me do. Who knows If I ever can make it, I would love to!

About 35 million people, about 80% of them clustered along the Canada/US border looking for warmth. The middle and the north are mostly empty.

Only the middle is flat but it's a big middle.
 
@Mr. Pole I'm guessing you're not coming by, even for a visit? Our loss is America's *clears throat* gain. It's okay, don't feel pressured to swing by, there's kind of a wall there now anyway and its super awkward to climb and worse to walk around. Just stay home with the other Trump supporters and entertain one and all with your witty repartee.

Big, empty and sucky.
From my perspective Canada is to the US as Scotland is to England. Them wildlings in the north! And a similar population ratio, Scotland having about 10% of the population of England yet it has about the same land mass. No one wants to live here either. 🙁
