because it was buy far the funniest series theres been when spike first got his chip and was living at giles then xanders every scene lyk that was gr8 i thought.
i no the initative(cnt spell it) werent many ppls favorite story but i found that more intersting than just the normal 'guna take over the world demon' nd i also luved the character adam because, okay im not but i lyked him neway.

there was also Hush which i fink is one of the best episodes of the whole buufyverse 🙂

I agree that this was one of the funniest season's and I personally liked the initiative as well, but it definitley had some bad moments as well.

Yeah I like season 4 too.

I would pick up on Mulders point, there are certain rules governing us on this site about this 'kewl talk' or what the heck you kids are calling it, basically its frowned upon.

Though I understand that people use it, i really never understood why people think its good or time saving and quicker.
For example you spell liked - lyked.
What is the benefit of writing a a word and purposefully spelling it incorrectly when its just as easy for you to use English as it is now.

Plus you also have to take into account that the internet is not just one language, on this site we have many people who don't count English as a first language so 'Kewl talk' can confuse them. Lets be honest it confuses me and i'm English speaking since Birth.

OK, rant over.

On the topic of season 4, its hugely discussed in this section, i'm sure you can find many threads already started about 'did you like or not'.
Anyhoo, it has some of my absolute favourite Buffy moments and episodes mixed in amongst them and i'm not on the 'Hate Adam' band wagon. Just like Frankensteins Monster himself, i think he is misunderstood.

And I'd like to third that point. I'm the last one to claim that his typing or spelling is absolutely perfect but I do try and get it correct whenever possible. Typing 'gr8' instead of 'great' is pretty much pointless and makes your posts look really unreadable.

We aren't having a go at you here but it would be good if you could just spell things normally, especially if you are hoping for replies to your posts. 🙂

honestly the first time i watched season four well i hated it with a firey passion ohhh it annoyed me so.... I hated Riley, Adam and the fact that when the scoobies went to college they werent as close and let alittle thing like a pathetic crybaby two bit moron (spike at the time) who was so desperate to get that stupid chip removed break them up. i mean honestly it was spike come on now? anyways yeah it just annoyed me

but even though it annoyed me i went out and bought it on dvd with no intention on ever watching more then a few episodes agian.... well i rewatched the whole season and even thought it still somewhat annoys me i'm alot better i dont hate riley quite as much... and i thought pathetic crybaby two bit moronic spike is kinda cute and funny lol

Yes Season 4 was deffinately my favorite with the Spuffy episode in Something Blue, I loved Hush where noone could talk but their actions just were hysterical at times. (Buffy motioning her hand as if using a stake but it actually looks like she's...doing something naughty.) lol. I also love the whole college atmosphere. It's very cool.

Season 4 is probably my favorite season! I love the whole storyline. There are so many awesome episodes in season 4. For example: Hush,Something Blue, Restless etc. I thought it was hilarious as well especially Spike. Ohhh and Faith waking up and switching bodies with Buffy! AMAZING! It is definitely one of the best seasons by far in my opinion!

Season 4 is the season where my opinion changed more than any other. I was very disappointed by it in general on first viewing (though I loved Hush and the Willow/Tara thing). On subsequent viewings, however, I've completely changed my mind. It is a very funny season, and maybe that irritated me a little at the time, but coming before the increasing darkness and intensity of the subsequent 3 years, it now feels like a nice, refreshing change!
