Okay, so as some people know I am currently harboring a very painful broken heart. I wanna know about your heart breaks so I don't feel so alone.

Who broke your heart and how?

I was seeing a guy who chose to tell me he was seeing someone else by INTRODUCING HER TO ME when we were out with pretty much everyone I knew.

I feel for you. Ive had my heart broken in the past, and its awful. But know its not the end of the world.
I once had a girlfriend of about 3 yrs, who I loved alot, and she ended it, and I felt like my world collapsed on top of me. I didnt know what to do with myself. Then in the middle of my self pity-a-thon (about a week later), my brother died, My world really did collapse then. It really put things in perspective (in a terrible sort of way), and the break up was so trivial it was laughable. It went from 'ruining my life' to being the least important thing going on.
So getting your heart broken sucks, but itll get better, and know that it can be alot worse.

I've never been involved long enough for someone to break my heart. I kinda didn't dare to get that close, knowing that it wouldn't last anyway. So I neer attatch myself too much...I'll get hurt eventually. But here recently, someone I care about made me feel a little hurt...Without me actually being in any right of that. We're not dating or anything...But I care about him, a lot. And I almost felt heartbroken. Silly isn't it? That's what happens when I get attached to people. The slightest thing can hurt me.

I hope your heart recovers soon..How about seeing a new guy? Maybe two? Ben and Jerry? They're always good for a broken heart

Oh yeeeah, I actually don't want to bore people with the story again, but yeah, it's happened to me.

I wasn't for a long time. For about a week I physically couldn't move without being sick, I was a MESS. It really took me quite a while to get my life back together, I think it was a confidence thing.

But now, after exactly a year, things are better for me. I guess it all depends on the situation, and the people involved, everyone is different. All I can say is make sure you have your family and friends around you, you'll need them now, more than ever.

I broke my own heart and didn't realise till he was with another girl. It could have been great everyone said we'd be great but we were so close friends I got scared and backed out.
He didn't speak to me for a year,which is saying a lot because I spoke to him every single day. But we did get speaking again and when he was drunk at the prom he was flirting with me like the old days,apparently I have the comfiest shoulders in the world (sw).

It'll all end fine i'm sure,I think its time thats the key.

Actually nobody has broken my heart! 😀
Every relationship Ive been in, I ended. :/
But maybe that's because everyone says I'm heartless 🙁

I was in a relationship for 3+ years and the girl told me she wanted a "break" over email because she felt too bad to tell me in person. She then completely cut me out of her life for about a month, and now we've made amends (sort of) and are "friends" again, even though seeing her rips me up because I'm still in love with her. We talk really intensely and hang out a lot (and do non-platonic friends things) and then she ignores me for a month. Then we get together, then she disappears. It's become a vicious cycle but I can't walk away yet. I'm still finding out things she lied about when we were together. It doesn't feel good and it is not getting better with time, so I feel your pain.

I went with a girl for 9 months with 2 "breaks". While we were on our third "break" (I can't help but laugh because of Friends...) she slept with one of my friends IN MY ROOM while I was gone crying with my best friend at 3 AM.

No had my heart broken..but I got hurt once..Just felt the pain of someone saying stuff they would do and then go back on it and dont try. It hurt for a while...Spend a wee while. Staying in bed late or watching movies all day...It took time but the pain goes in time but slowly..

Sorry to hear about the broken heart as well *hug*
Once I fell in love with this guy and dated him for a short time. then he broke up. a year later he liked my friend who he told that he broke up with me because i wasn't goodlooking enough.
It wasn't exactly the break up that broke my heart, but it was that particular thing that made me furious. I took a little revenge by spitting him in the face and confronting him.

I hope you feel better quickly! It helps me to talk to friends.
