At work, having a random "hey hi how are you? nice weather?" conversation when suddenly the director of the foundation goes "it's so great that you're taking over for X, of course we'll have to talk about increased compensation, you should think that over and get back to me."
My literal reaction:

I didn't know X was quitting, that I was considered to take over any of her responsibilities (I mean she has 20 years experience in this field, I have 1 year…), oh and also wasn't asked if I was interested? Lol.

Don't buy the fireworks yet 😛 As it is just my side-job, not my real job, I'm not sure I can take on more for them so, discussions will have to be had before I maybe accept. So for now I'm busy as ever watching over your every move…

After reading a headline exclaiming "Hersey chocolates glow in the dark for Halloween" I was like
