She probably said it as a joke, but PeopleNews has quoted her as saying that she would be interested in playing the 007 role once Pierce Brosnan no longer has it. I think Freddy put her up to it. 😛

Well, that would certainly be a nice twist, but since Halle Berry's Jinx will get her own spin-off, I don't think they really need a Jane Bond, but then again, it would be fun, I would certainly go and see it ... but then I've seen all 007 movies!
 
SMG as Bond??? yeah, right! even freddy can't pull that off!

Sure SMG can become Jane Bond, she a great actress and I'm sure she could pull it of, but one thing bothers me, what will happen to the Bond-girls, or will she be lesbian?
 
I can't picture her in a Bond film....but she is a talented actress, and if she did land the role, i am confident that she would do an excellent job..
 
Bond is a man - end of story! It would be nothing but a cheap imitation if a woman did it! I don't want SMG in something rubbish that I would ultimately have to boycott!!!

Well, except for the part where she's a slayer, she might be a very good bond-baddie!
 
Did anyone see the preview for Terminator 3? Apparently the new evil robot is going to be female.

So what does that mean? Terminator 4 will be a black, woman robot, and Terminator 5 will be a mentally challenged, black, woman robot. If you ask me this politically correct thing is getting out of hand.

I agree with one thing though; Sarah Michelle Gellar is a good actress. Maybe she should try out for the Terminator 5 part.

Not to mention that Bond should always be played by a Brit! Preferably one who has a touch of a shshcottish accshent.......

I agree it wouldn't be smart at all & yep James Bond should be male!

But don't forget that James Bond was Australian once...no matter how hard we may try to!!😀
 
On the he/she has to be british ... okay, but you said it yourself, it was once played by an Australian!

I still don't see why Bond has to be male all the time, M became a woman, why can't Bond!
 
SMG would do a good 'let's take the p**s out of it' version of James Bond an I would definately go to the cinema to watch it aswell! LOL And can I just say that there aren't any female action heroes out there on the big screen. The last one I remember was probably Lara Croft in Tomb Raider played by Angelena Jolie cause all the other female action stars are always on screen with a male. I ain't being sexist but how many great girls and women agree with me?
 
I agree with you, but uhm ... this may not be on the big screen, but I do know a female action star ... Buffy! It would be nice though to have more female action stars!
 
There are more than you think! you just don't watch the shows!
like Max from Dark Angel and Sydney from Alias + that girl from Witchblade but i can't remember her name, and i bet that Birds Of Prey (wb) have some female action stars, although the serie is being cancelled or so i have heard/read.
 
Almost forgetting charmed, thought that's not really action. But these are all from TV, can you also think of movie stars?
