Well, I guess it might be for some people. For Browncoats, it's pretty simple. 😛 Seriously folks, this is an idea that I stole from one of my Joss Whedon groups on Facebook. If you could choose only one of these potential projects, which one would you want to see? My answer? Faith. Why? Because I loooooove Faith. 😉

This is sort of a tough question, it would depend on what we get in s6 of Angel, cause I would love more Spike and Angel and if they added Faith, but I went wit ha Faith spin off cause I would love more Faith! A Ripper spin off also interests me. Not a huge Firefly fan, especially since we got Serenity which answers most of my questions I had, but I would have liked to explore River more. But if I had to put money to back something it's always Faith! lol

Gimme some Faith! (that's my number 1)

Number 2 would be Ripper.

Both of these are at the top 2 spots because there is a potential for multiple seasons and cameos from the gang. Number 3 would be Angel s6, and again only because that's only one season, so technically I could get more for my money with a Faith spin off (yes, cheating the system here!)

Can I vote for more Buffy seasons, just animated so the actors can return and plausibly still play their characters?

Rewatching Buffy right now and I haven't read all the comics yet... So nostalgic for this great series... 🙁

So I'm voting for Angel season 6. I think the finale was great but I would love to see the planned season 6.

If this was in a magical world I would choose Ripper or Firefly 2 but honestly, I think the time has passed for most of the actors to be able to play the characters. We all know that I am the number one Jayne Cobb/Adam Baldwin fangirl (and I still think he's incredibly sexy despite his stupid right wing politics and aging) but I really can't see him being able to pull off Jayne Cobb anymore:

I would definitely watch and love a show starring ASH, but I just can't see him pulling off a Ripper character anymore!

As much as I love Spike, I will go with the Faith spin off because he appears in 100+ Buffyverse episodes while Faith only appears in 26 Buffyverse episodes.

My first reaction was to go for a Faith based show, but on the whole, when I thought about it, I think I would really like an animated series rather than focus on just one character. So my vote is for the BtVS animated series.

If it was to start now, then I would have to go with Faith as I think Eliza is still capable of pulling that off, or maybe Ripper could be done with a whole new cast, don't think ASH would have been able to do teenage/early twenties Giles before anyway.

I would have loved a season 6 of Angel though, the end of season 5 felt rushed and to have it spread out over 2 seasons would have been better

None of them. That was easy. I don't even want the "female version of 'batman'" that he's talking about doing, as that sounds very cliched. All of the above properties need to stay dead.

As much as I adore Spike, I don't think centering on one character would be the answer, so I voted for season 6 of Angel. as that at least had the ability to carry a full cast. That or the animated series. The only issue I had with that was they obviously wanted to reset the premise and make it very simplified and so all all characters developments would be lost, and that would be a great shame imo.

Faith would be great but I had to go with Spike. I'd be interested to see where his character goes.

Maybe a Tales of the Slayer series instead, with every season being a different slayer and going through her story of being called and fighting

I like that idea. Sounds a little bit American Horror Story-esque!

That's something they could still do, and would be cool. I want to explore the slayer mythology more.
Angel season 6 all the way.

My second choice would be Faith.
Third: Ripper.

I will ignore age issues and stuff and say Firefly season 2.

/SK

it's more Buffy.
But that's my issue with the whole thing (save the wonder woman, which the idea for that was shit) and that more doesn't mean better. The comics are 'more' Buffy. I just think after so long there would be no life left. The magic is gone. Any attempt to resuscitate it and it would only be a shell of itself and serve as a reminder why what proceeded it was better.

It doesn't have to be better - it just needs to be good enough.
I voted for the animated series. As awesome as the other projects could have been I kinda feel like their time has passed. With the animated series you could target a whole new audience as really recreate the universe.
