Ahhh I love it! If you don't mind, I have a suggestion for you if it's not too late, (my personal fave):

"Be a Buffy, not a Bella."

Seriously, it's so true. I forced myself to watch the movies because I realized it was ridiculous to object to them purely based on what I'd heard and the horrible acting in the trailers. And...yup. Awful. But most importantly, the stark contrast between Buffy and Bella; a story about a woman who is filled with confidence, self respect, and takes control of her life both physically and metaphorically versus that of a girl who needs constant saving and gives up her future for a man(pire) who never seems to have her best interests in mind, willing to literally die just to be in a relationship with him. And don't even get me started about the messages in Breaking Dawn...not going there. Bah, sorry for the rant!

I've only seen the first film and I hated it, it was so slow and boring and sparkley. But having said that as I've only seen the first film I dunno if the other movies get any better. So I am interested. DO they?

I know there are many for and against on here so...

If you ask me, it's just downhill from the first!
Nice. I'm tempted to go to the movie theaters when it opens, to see Skyfall, but wear one of those 'And then Buffy staked Edward" shirts.

Worked 954 minites
Got a croud to chant Buffy (super awsome)
Met another Willow fan

Geting a dirty look and head shake from a twihard priceless

Oh yeah everyone I talked to had nothing but fond memorys and praise for the show...exsept for Twihard lady who could not accept Buffy did it better

Haha, nice! Let us know if there are any reactions from people. 😀

Even better, you should wear a "And then Buffy staked Edward, The End" shirt, but that would probably go against wearing your theatre uniform. 😛

People are STILL making such a big fuss about this crap??? Seriously... Why not just let people like what they like without "protesting" or making fun?
Lame.

Lol, I think it's funny, I don't dislike Twilight (well Breaking dawn I can't stand truth be told) but I prefer Buffy so this is totally chuckle-worthy 🙂

You would not being so hard on me if you worked a Twilight insteed of being in line for Twilight 😀

What I did was light hearted fun and everyone exsept one lady was behind me it made my very long day 10:45am-3:05am (when I arrived and left work) seemed shorter

And that can only been seen as a good thing

it was not so much a protest as a declration of where I stand

I don't think anyone is protesting, however when I hear people talk about how great a book/movie it is I'm going to voice my opinion. And my opinion is that Twilight is an insult to literature and film. It's devoid of any importance. The lesson it teaches young women, that they need a man to protect them and to be happy, is extremely backwards and sexist. Furthermore Edward's treatment of Bella is horrible. Not to mention how the series utterly butchers established lore regarding vampires. Stephenie Meyeris is a hack who wouldn't know how to write a decent piece of literature if her life depended on it. As Stephen King once said:

"Harry Potter is about confronting fears, finding inner strength and doing what is right in the face of adversity. Twilight is about how important it is to have a boyfriend."
