"Crow" sounds like it might soar

Bloody Disgusting talked to someone who's seen the script for "The Crow : Wicked Prayer". "The script is really... wacky. Lance Mungia (who did "Six String Samurai") has a bizarre sense of action and humor. I suspect it will either be the BEST in the series, entirely reinventing it.... Or it will flop. It's all or nothing. I have to hand it to the filmmakers. They are willing to take some enormous risks. All the cast members LOVE the script... for whatever that's worth." I hear it's going well too, with David Boreanaz apparently giving one heck of a performance. Cinema release this time, perhaps?
-Me being the only living person who loves the 3 crow films, and also being a huge David-playing-evil fan (let's remember Soulless and Passion)... I think this is my kind of movie.... what do you think of it?
