Giles had found himself a home that he could keep a library of separate texts, the forgotten scriptures of the Damned. He also often looked at the scrolls that had been sent recently, they spoke of a way that only recently had come to be they were not prophecies but were scrolls of the now, of how two of Gods original creations had returned to him, of ones that he knew of as d his prodigal son and daughter, they made him happy.

In the beginning God created the world, on the ground the plants arrived then God created animals, he left to create the stars in the sky. When he returned he saw the large creatures, he disliked them and knew they would destroy his world. As he watched the ground an asteroid sped passed when it slammed into the earth vast clouds of dust arose.

God could see it’d be a few years so he returned after a couple of years and saw his planned creatures had begun to be, the birds, the animals and the primates and all was well for a millennia or two. God created a winged man to police the birds, the animals and the primates, he called those new winged men his Angels.

God had beings look after them he called the beings his Angels. Over time one of the Angels took control of the creatures it had them obey Gods words, but God decided it was the Angel enjoyed its control too much and sent the Angel deep into the ground. That Angel began to look after the dead but the dead became so many and the Angel, after changing its name created himself a son.

The name the Angel gave himself was The Devil, his name rebelled against his father and against god. As the years grew to decades and centuries the birds, animals and primates grew in numbers and with inter breeding the range of them increased, God was happy as they were all from his first creations. The Angels thought they had stopped the fighting as the small battles ceased to be, but as they found out the defeated were being killed and sometimes eaten.

The Angels needed to do more, when God found out he ordered the Angels to stop them. One of the Angels did just that, but he took God’s word to the extreme and he made them stop fighting and killing each other; God was pleased with him. That was until God realised how that Angel had stopped the killings, that Angel had killed those who had perpetrated the sin.

God became despondent, he didn’t know what to do. Another of the Angels, Michael spoke to God, Michael suggested that God move the Angel to where he could do no harm. God looked over the world and saw that his creations were everywhere, then God had a brilliant idea, he would send that Angel to watch over all he had killed.

That Angel was sent into the depth of the earth, God was happy again and because of that he created a few more to assist those Angels. The new creation was formed without wings and became known as vampires, they helped where they could and God was happy for many millennia. During that time God saw the waters as being too empty of life and decided to correct his mistake.

God looked to the waters but thought of some to control in the ponds, lakes, rivers and in the seas and oceans needed protection. Fish began to form throughout the waters over the planet and although God had placed some in the waters to keep control what he didn’t know was
that an island had begun to form. On that tiny parcel of land, a person began to grow and with Gods thoughts of control over all, that one grew to have control over all.

Unknowingly God had created the first witch; Vixana. She only knew she was to control that she had control of on all the earth to aid her in her control of everything in and on the land she would have complete control of the elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Not having anyone to guide her she did what she thought was right. All she knew was that God had created her to do; control.

Deep in the ground the Angel that watched over the dead was happy with what he was told to do but over the centuries the dead became so many that soon he had far too many to watch over, so he created himself a Son. The Son found his existence to be tedious as so many dead arrived and repeatedly arrived, he looked at why there were so many and saw that God had kept creating more.

God called his new creations his children, they were to be mankind. The Son did not like them as so many of them died so often mainly because they didn’t have a life span that was long. The Son wanted to stop them, he saw the culprit for them dying so often as God. The Son and hid himself from his father and made plans for his own betterment. Unknown to the Son his father had given himself a name, The Devil.

The Son stole a few of Gods vampires and ordered the rest to do as he wanted if they wanted to see those he had captured again. Those vampires caught and killed some of Gods children but they didn’t die, when their death seemed sure they rose to life again; the son thought it wonderful and decided he wanted more so he sent his new ones and so many more returned.

The Son destroyed those who were Gods vampires, those he had captured were sent further than any had been into the ground and the Son kept the new vampires. So many he had he decided to call them his army and he called the army Legion. Those of the Legion didn’t care who they attacked, it was those that created a mix of the Gorilla’s and the Angels that gave the son a thought.

He would rename them as Gargoyles. With the vampires to protect the Son and the gargoyles to protect the vampires he formed another Legion. The Legion’s grew so fast and grew so vast the Son expected to be noticed so he made plans to attack the Devil and if he beat his father he would attack God. The Devil heard of his Sons hatred of God and his Son’s hatred of himself, the Devil.

He was not pleased about the situation so he set the initial steps in place to build himself his own army, he created one to lead his forces and he named that one, Kal-na and just in time as the Son’s Legions attacked. Luckily for the Devil his forces were ready and guided by Kal-na they won, but only just.

Giles looked at the long line of scrolls to his side, he picked the one nearest to him and began to read of what he hadn’t been taught or even considered. After the pitched battle the Devil’s Son lost, yet he escaped with many of his Legions. As the Son left he turned to the Devil and shouted a vow he would return and that he would battle him then God. The Son vowed that after the battles he would have control over both of their domains.

The Devil saw his Sons Legions as having created an inner hierarchy. The Devil knew that his Son would return successfully when he was able. Before much more time was allowed to pass the Devil knew he needed to warn God. The Devil rose through the surface fissures under a great ocean, he rose to a nearby unpopulated island.

He knew that God would notice his presence on earth, when God came down to meet him the Devil explained what had happened, of all that had led to him being there. The Devil reiterated his warnings about his Sons vow and offered to send God the one he valued most, the Devil offered God the warrior who he The Devil revered the most. The Devil said he was the one who always did as was asked; God knew of Kal-na and knew he would be of great value.

The Devil knew he had to do what needed to be done. The Devil spoke with Kal-na and told him that once the Son had been destroyed and God was given his heaven he, the Devil would have a place built for KKal-na and any friend he chose to live for eternity. God knew the Devil had done what he thought was wanted. Giles read how the Devil had sent Kal-na to do God’s will, he did it because of a belief in his ways.

Of how he created the army God knew he would get beneficial advice from Kal-na. God thanked The Devil and began to look at creating an army which he knew he’d need time. God and the Devil agreed to join forces until God’s army was powerful enough to begin in its own right.
Unknown to God and The Devil the Son had begun to have his Legion’s form massive cavern where they could hide from prying eyes.

Kal-na knew of the Sons plans he had sent entities to begin the search for them. The Goddess Tianara and Godking Aqueion agreed to meet at the meeting they agreed for Tianara to create and build the army and that Aqueion would provide many as were wanted from the sea to be Generals or more, he also stated that he would create some to be spies for the army. The primary aim of the army was to protect the creation that God had made; his children; mankind.

The Goddess Tianara was left no doubt of what to do in her mind, she was to search all the lands to find and to make the army. She was then to stay and guide those in that army. So the Goddess Tianara began her search and through seven hundred years she kept up the search. It wasn’t until she noticed the values two armies fought for that she knew her search was near an end. Though she planned to test each army’s worth she had no idea her search would be so fruitful.

The General Grevoth’s army headed. It was the army of Holly Marie Eloepe that Tianara knew she needed to spend some time with. When her plans had almost been put into operation God himself spoke to her. He wanted Holly Marie Eloepe to be kept held in secret for him it was Holly Marie’s weapon maker Garet that bore the interest of the Goddess. The cross bow and the battle dress they were the two weapons of prime importance for Gods army.

Before Tianara introduced herself she joined Holly Marie’s army in secret, she hid herself in the role as the seer as she wanted to get close to Garet, to inspire his thoughts to be as she wanted, so that Gods army could be as good as it needed to be. With Holly Marie’s army where she expected it to be, it had just fought a battle against an evil tyrant’s army and won. Grevoth’s army was placed on top of a hill a journey to where he wanted it to be.

The two armies met face to face on a valley floor though neither Holly Marie nor General Grevoth could understand how each army wore the same battle dress and both carried the same weapon. The battle dress was made of brown leather, stout leather for the feet softer leather for the legs and thighs, a pleated skirt that gave support for the two swords which had just appeared on her heavy belt. A stout leather jacket over a soft leather top protected the torso.

A strap over the shoulder was a guide for the cross bow. Garet was of great importance to Holly Marie and though he didn’t know it the same could be said for Gods army. As Grevoth reached the middle of the two armies so did Holly Marie. They looked at the other and the others army neither knew how the battle dress could be the same without the weapons maker’s designs having been sold. “There is another way.”

Both Holly Marie and Grevoth looked at where the voice came from. Both of them exclaimed that it was the voice of their seer said that was the voice of her seer as did Grevoth. They look to the other as a dome of bright white light rose from the ground, a figure bathed in light walked from the dome of light. “I wanted you to bring your armies to here, for both armies to become one as I told you I am the seer but I am not a seer, I am of undefined power.”

“Most of you see me but you don’t know me, don’t let that your doubt of me be the reason you don’t know me or who I am, accept that I understand you I know you. As of today I want you to know what our tomorrows will be I want all of you to be the army, know none in the army will know sustained injury and no one need fear death. Also I know what could lay in your future should you decide to take the right course,” she said.

“Of how I know, that you can question me about later, but as for now I know more about each of you than you know of yourself.” Holly Marie smiled, “you’ve got to admit she does speak like a seer or whatever she is.”

Giles breathed in deeply, “At that point I decided to find what The Devil had promised for Kal-na. Giles found out he was great friends with a person who had met Kal-na, the friend was a theologian whose name was Allan, two hours later Giles had a phone call from Kal-na. The Devil had built himself a home in a cavern. One end of the cavern was a forest the other end was a lake, The Devil had built himself a huge circular mansion.

Above the mansion was massive protrusion from the ceiling a protrusion that the Devil called death. A friend of the Devil looked up one day and described the shadow that formed from the that protrusion, “And yea though I walk through the shadow of death I know I will fear no evil.”

Holly Marie walked alongside General Grevoth she said she would like to know more of what had been meant but she said she doubted she’d understand the reply. Holly Marie said she had sounded like a seer, Holly Marie grinned, and continued the walk to the new encampment though when there she faced it like Grevoth they were both amazed, the encampment was made up with the tents from both their army’s.

The Goddess Tianara appeared beside them, this is where you begin to be one army, you may have noticed that the sword on your belt is now two swords. Once was you only had one sword but by joining with the other army you have the right to wear the others sword as well and in doing so you have become the army of the Two Swords, Gods Army.

Holly Marie looked to her. “Who are you?” Grevoth added his query. “Think not of me as a leader of this army yet I will guide the army, this army is of God. Though if you see me when I am not bathed in light then I am Tianara. The glow about her faded and Tianara began to grin for her work there that day was almost completed soon the army would begin.

Beginning the next day Grevoth and Holly Marie began that new destiny for them and each soldier in their army. Tianara saw confusion in their eyes, neither of them could comprehend what was happening. “Against each other you each had one sword now that you are together as one army you have two swords though yet each one of your army can only use one. For the other sword will be your power.”

When your armies are as one army and have begun to be then Holly Marie will be taken and hidden amongst the ranks of what will be the Riders. Grevoth you will become the general of the soldiers. I will liaise with you, I will not lead you as I am your guide in this, God’s army. Tianara invited each of them to tell their army to join, to become friends, to prepare for the first battle. Tianara pointed to the town.

Calling their armies to join together, they stood on barren ground in front of a town, stone walls built around a wooden fort. Holly Marie and Grevoth stood at the head of the army. The Goddess Tianara appeared a few paces in front of them; she faced them and told them of the time that was now. You will no longer fight the tyrants of this world from now you will battle all that is evil. The first battle the army will face will be here against two hundred demons.

They form a Legion bigger and more powerful than either of you has ever faced. Defeat these and the Legion of legions will be smaller, many battles lie over the horizon and many parts of those legions will need to be fought. They are those who protects the Devil’s Son, believe the Two Swords can win as those you face here have the same weakness, they always believe they can win.

She pointed along the ground in front of them at a line it had just appeared in the sand. When you cross this line your clothes will become the battle dress of the Two Swords as designed by Garet. Holly Marie and Grevoth stepped over the line, as was said their clothes changed they
looked down at their battle dress.

“The crossbow over your shoulder is a weapon that Garet has made it will always be ready for use,” the Goddess looked to Grevoth she had him free his sword and let it drop it to the ground, he did as she told him, he saw it touch the ground lay there then it was in his hand. Goddess Tianara invited them to both move one step forward. As they did they found themselves on new ground.

They saw in front of them the sunlight which had been in front now spread its light on walls of a town ahead of them. Grevoth called to them to begin the march forward, no sooner had he done so than he heard a sound unlike any he had heard before. He turned to see Garet hqad begun to slap his leather battle dress, “This will be the first time I have gone into battle, I need to ready myself.” Grevoth smiled, he stood as tall as he could and faced the rest of the army.

Grevoth called aloud to them, he ordered that each of them do as Garet the weapons maker has just done. He ordered them to slap the leather with each step they take, “the battle dress being slapped will be our battle cry, one we can all do together as one.” The army began to march forward, as they marched they slapped the leather, the sound grew like thunder as more soldiers joined them.

The army neared to fifty paces from the town’s walls before the army stopped. Horse pulled chariots raced to the walls where the charioteers threw hooks into the window portals on the walls, returning the attached ropes for other soldiers to pull them, the hooks when pulled free loosened many stones from the wall which caused them to fall to the ground. The portals soon increased in size and became holes in the wall.

As more hooks were withdrawn the holes grew bigger. Demonic vampires that could be seen to be hiding from the suns murderous rays, they tried to catch the people of the town as they ran into the sunlight, they could do nothing to stop the people of the town running to their freedom. When each one of the people were known to have escaped the town. With the Two Swords at the ready, Grevoth raised his sword, a signal for the archers to run to the front.

Terracotta urns filled with burning oil were placed at their sides and the archers began to light their arrows to send a rain of fire onto the roofs of the town’s buildings. With broken walls letting the sunlight in and pockets of fire spreading throughout the roofs of the towns buildings the vampires ran to try and find safety; to seek any pockets of shade and where the fire hadn’t reached.

Holly led the main army’s charge to kill all the vampires that remained there. When she returned from the battle she asked the Goddess where had it gone. Both Grevoth and the Goddess looked to her. When the demonic vampires had all been killed the people were allowed to return, one of those people went to speak to Grevoth. His name was Tiberinus, he pleaded with Grevoth to help him get a message to his wife and children.
