Hahaha no...but there would have been a confrontation. I don't usually argue with teachers, I tend to get along well with them, but he was seriously such a jackass. I mean maybe I would have just yelled, "OKAY CHILL, I AM LEAVING." but yeah...I wish Buffy had said something. I did have a total bitca of a woman scream at me in the 3rd grade. Oh man...I'm sorry but whenever I think about this I get so worked up and I have to vent.
I was 8 years old. I was wearing a fuzzy pink sweater and my hair was curled. I looked sweet and innocent, for the most part...I was. Kind of. We went to a class called "Stomp" every Monday, I believe. We made music with some crappy wooden instruments. The teacher was a loud mouthed woman (seriously, you could sometimes hear her in the parking lot) with a failed music career. She took pictures of us all with our instruments, and she uploaded a lot of them to the school website. All of my friends made it on, except for myself and my partner in the class. I showed my mom and I asked her if she would email the teacher, asking why I wasn't on it. She told me I could do it because she was busy.
I wrote a VERY polite email, my mother proofread it, and I hit send. No big whoop. I arrive to school Monday and my math teacher (who pretty much hated me, for sucking at math) asked if my mom sent the crazed woman an email. I told her, no, I had sent it from my mom's account. I WAS HONEST. My teacher said, "Hmph. I thought so." Whatever. I go to Stomp, the crazed woman points to me and says, "YOU, come here." we go outside and she proceeds to scream in my face about how she was going to hunt my mother down and that she had no respect FOR ME, AN 8 YEAR OLD CHILD, FOR SENDING AN INNOCENT EMAIL. She went on and on about how it took her hours to put up the pictures.
1st of all, I was 8. I was allowed to make mistakes, but in this case, what I did wasn't even a big deal.
2nd of all, what idiot takes hours uploading some pictures to the internet???
I was convinced that I had actually done something wrong, because no adult had ever yelled at me like that. I didn't tell my mom until about a year ago, maybe. How sad is that? Haha
so yeah. I had a more humiliating and terrifying experience than Buffy did, and I was only in the 3rd grade. I really wish I had told my parents back then because oh.my.god. it would have been WWIII.
Sorry, I had to.
