Someone from Danville Kentucky on another forum reported that tornadoes touched down there and destroyed the local airport with about 20 aircraft in hangers destroyed when the hangars were scattered all over the place. NBC News reported that one tornado may have been on the ground for over 250 miles. One warehouse collapse may have killed over a hundred people.
Many years ago, a colleague with a hangar on his property in Sexsmith Ontario had his hangar disappear but it didn't even disturb the dust on the wing of his Taylorcraft. He never found any trace of the hangar. Destruction can be partial or horrendous.
