What are UK viewers thoughts on Bones?

It's early on in the season over here, but so far I'm really enjoying it. I thought the first episode was a bit slow (and the Angelator a bit implausible) but since the dialogue has got more sparky I'm really liking it. And my hubby (who is not a 'cult TV' person and has a deep loathing of all things Buffyverse and my lust for Angel, presumably after years of being subjected to it) actually sits and watches it each week, even though he has the option to slink out of the room or because it's recorded ask me to watch it when he's not around.

I wasn't too sure about Emily at first, but she is growing on me.

So, your thoughts people?!?!?!

I have continually been missing it, and I finally got to see it last week and I really liked it, So I am looking forward to seeing more and getting to know the characters better!

I have given up with this.

The first episode was below average. caught some of the second episode and still wasnt impressed.

Like I said in another similar thread, I think its more that I'm bitter that David Boreanaz is moving on from Angel, making kinda official that its finished. I dont think it ever sunk in till seeing him play a different character.

But it could also be the mediocre acting, unorigional concept and poor writing for the reasons of my hate for bones.

In conclusion, not a fan.

I didn't a vote because I don't think the show is poor, but that's the option I would have had to go for.

Without demons or spaceships this just isn't my kind of show.

I quite like this show, I've only missed one episode, but then I'm not watching it for DB, I am actually a fan of Kathy Reichs, and I've read all the books, so that's why I tune in each week.

I'd read alot of mixed reviews when it aired in the US, but I voted for 'A Grower' as I like the interaction between the characters, and it's quite funny at times. It's also amusing to see the rapport between Tempe and Booth - I think they are wokring well together. Plus, the actual stories each ep haven't been bad either, it's not CSI but it's still worth watching I think, if you like these type of forensic shows.

I hope it continues to get better as the weeks go on.
