Thoughts on Cordy becoming part demon/higher being

Im pretty sure when Doyle kissed Cordy the Powers just used that time to let the visions pass on. there was probably some other way that the visions passed to Angel....i always wondered that also though...

Maybe when Cordy was made half-demon they just also made sure the visions wouldn't cause her pain. Kind of like "you have to take being demon, but we'll take away the pain". Maybe the Powers made sure the pain would be taken away....that's just my theory
 
yea, also, i think Cordelia deserved the reward, if that was what it was. She went through alot with those visions from the powers, and now they were telling her she had to become part demon. She deserved to be out of pain from it, so I would like to think it was a reward for her.
 
Reward is a very good idea..She deserved it as you said..It was at least what they could have done for her...
 
I agree, the "higher-being" thing was stupid, I mean just cause shewas someone who knew about buffy then started killing vampires led to herbeing a higher being? there are alot more people who deserve it.
I think it was either a) done by accident or b) destined for her. I miss the old cordy!

Well,I've been reading your posts guys,everyone hates St.Cordy!,...good!
 
I liked her becoming part demon, it showed that she was no longer that selfish person that she used to be. She gave up stardom and fame to help out Angel, I thought it really showed how much Cordelia has grown as a character.


I'm still kind of vague on Cordelia becoming a higher being since I haven't seen season 4 yet....although I didn't like it, I really wanted her to meet up with Angel in the season finale of season 3.
 
I agree with Chelsea.

Most people seem to find Saint Cordy annoying and fake, but i actually prefered her this way. Sure, she was good as a bitch but she was so horrid and shallow sometimes i just wanted to strangle her! Ever since she got the visions and became Angel's Seer, she turned in to a much better person and i really like the depth it added to her character.

I also really wanted her to meet Angel in Tomorrow, i was cursing when Skip showed up! I can't really speak for her becoming a higher being because i haven't seen S4, and by all accounts, i don't think i particularly wanna see it.
 
It got boring when she became part demon-i am not trying to devalue her sacrifice, but her visions looked so dumb when she became part demon. I felt bad that she was so manipulated by jasmine (when and after she became a higher being) i honestly don't think she was in conrol of her body after that. poor cordy 🙁
 
ana its not your fault, I feel the same you do it was more interesting when they caused her pain and they actually used special effects whereas when they didnt hurt anymore they didnt put any special affects in it.
 
Well, the painful visions were getting a bore too, they should've just gotten her a medicine or something. Demon is okay too, though I would've liked a lizard like tail 😀... but they should've left it at that.
