Thoughts on Giles/Willow

It does mean that the difference between legal adult in England - 18 - and legal child in England - 15 - is only three years.

I don't like Giles/Scooby pairings, though. He spent five years as a father figure and mentor to them. Willow crushing on him is one thing. A pairing is something else entirely.

@thetopher You become an adult at 18 in England, so it's not 16 for the whole of the UK.

I see your point but it does illustrate that a 8 or 9 year age gap in your late 20's early 30's just isn't as big an issue as it is in your teens. Of course any flirtation between say, a 13 year old boy his 19 year old babysister is going to be weird and gross- from her side- but fast forward 10 years and its just maybe a bit weird...

President Macron of France met his now-wife when he was 15 and she was his (much older, adult) married teacher. They're still together as far as I know. But to me its the power dynamic that squicks me rather than the age difference, the 'used to be his teacher' is the eyebrow raising stuff.
