Just started re-watching Season 4...

I know she only appeared in two episodes, but I found her hilarious! So Ive decided to make a thread for Kathy and note down some classic quotes from her... these have made me giggle...

Kathy: You took the right side? [with all her stuff on the left side!!]
BUFFY: Yeah, umm, but if you want it...
Kathy: No, no. I just wanted to make sure that's what you wanted

Kathy: (Laughs) I bet there's going to be a lot of parties to go to this week, too. Not that I'm a crazy partier. Oh, and I'm not always this hyper, either. I'm just excited.

Kathy:I am really glad they put me with somebody cool... I can tell that you're cool. I just know that this whole year is going to be super fun!

Kathy: "Does Buffy have a history of emotional problems? 'Cause on my request form, I was pretty specific about a stable non-smoker."

Buffy: "Wow. This music is so... so..."
Kathy: "I know. This song is super fun, isn't it?"
Buffy: "You bet. It just gets fun-er and fun-er every time you play it."

Kathy: "'Cause, I figure, a stitch in time..."
Buffy: "Catches the worm."

Kathy: "I just wanted to make sure - that we didn't have a thief or something."
Buffy: "Like who? Sid the wily dairy gnome?"

Kathy: "What the blizzard was that all about?"

Kathy: "Don't forget to log those calls!!!"

Kathy: "You're problem is, you're spoiled. Maybe the world revolved around you where you used to live, but it's share-time now!"

Kathy: "Hmm. Sounds like somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning."
Buffy: "And guess what? You were next to it!"

KathyL "Toodles!!!"

Kathy: [In demon language] "I'm 3000 years old! When are you going to stop treating me like I'm 900?"

I just loved the interaction between her and Buffy!!

So yes, just a little thread to appreciate a minor, but hilarious character

You know that sound Buffy makes when she's taking shots with Spike in his crypt in "Life Serial?" "Bllleeeaaaaagggggh." That's how I feel about Kathy!

She really gets under my skin, but that's the point isn't it? I absolutely love all of Buffy's reactions to her irritating habits, even when it escalates. It's a fun episode!

haha, my daughter does a great impression of buffy doing that. cracks me up!
Kathy annoyed me, but I loved the character! She was hilarious!

I always crack up with the Cher song, because when I tried out for danceline in high school the first time, that's the song they choreographed to. In dance, there is a saying that you should never pick a song you like, because you will hate it by the end of learning the dance. This is very true.

No, she was super hyper and OCD. Turned out she was a demon that was sucking Buffy's soul while she slept and turned her into a queen biotch. She had run away from her demon world so she could go to college or something.
 
I was SO annoyed by Kathy! She reminded me of a crazy roommate I had in college...anyone who brings up those awful memories is not to be liked.
 
I loved Kathy! She cracked me up... She definitely reminded me of my first college roommate, right down to her hairstyle. Of course Kathy was annoying and over the edge; that was the point. Anyone who's ever been to college can tell you you never know what you're gonna get when it comes to your roomie and more times than you would think, people have Buffy's experience. LOL
