It has come to our attention that there seems to be an increasing number of threads that have actual spoilers in the thread titles.

Please remember that when people "View New Posts" they will be able to see these titles and may be spoiled. Stated below, as shown in our Code of Conduct, is a reminder as to what is considered spoiler territory.

4. If there is a thread that has spoilers in it, please insert SPOILERS in the thread title somewhere. Otherwise, just post spoilers in the spoiler forum. Also, please do not include spoilers in thread titles, even in the Spoiler forum, as people using the "View New Posts" feature will still see them. You may also use spoiler tags in your posts,
spoiler text
. Season 7 Buffy and season 4 Angel episodes that have not yet aired on Sky One in the UK are considered spoiler territory.

To use the spoiler tags as shown above use [*spoiler]blah, blah here[*/spoiler], just take out the *'s.

For further information on Buffy S7 episodes that have now aired on Sky One in the uK, please Go here

Thank you.🙂

a question: If the episode has already aired, and the topic is discussion about a specific point, so the topic title reveals what's in the episode, but some people haven't SEEN the episode yet, what then? I mean, it's not exactly a spoiler, since it's discussion about this week's episode...

An episode is considered spoiler territory until it has aired on Sky One in the UK, so to answer your question if you are referring to an episode that has aired in the US but not in the UK then it's still classed as spoiler for all UK viewers.

Even though you would be discussing a 'specific point' from an episode that has aired in the US, other members could still be spoiled when viewing new posts, if the thread title has a 'spoiler' in it.🙂

Does that answer your question?🙂

Does that apply even if the discussion thread is posted in the say, "Angel in the US" forum? I mean, there's a big giant message saying "THERE WILL BE SPOILERS FOR NON-US Viewer!" right there. If the episode has already aired in the US, can we post them there?

You can't put spoilers in thread titles as even those not going in that forum could still potentially see the spoilers whilst viewing 'View New Posts', but you can obviously discuss within the episode itself.

I.E. You could discuss Cordelia sleeping with Conner in a thread in the US Angel Forum, but you could not put the thread title as 'Conner & Cordy Sleep Together', as any member that had a look at 'View New Posts' on the main page could be potentially spoiled by this.🙂

This is why we ask all members to not use any spoilers in thread titles, as there are alot of members who wish to remain 'spoiler free' throughout the new seasons.

Does this make it clearer to you now?🙂
