Three Inches NOT picked up

The official James Marsters facebook reported a little while ago "Syfy has decided not to proceed with THREE INCHES to series. However, they do have plans to air the pilot sometime in the near future. We will announce the airdate here as soon as we are advised."

I'm so angry. This was the once chance SyFy had to redeem themselves in my eyes... and they failed. I'm convinced they wouldn't know good TV if it slapped them in their faces. The channel used to be for good, intelligent science fiction... now it's for wrestling and ghost reality shows. Kinda sad...

At least we get to see the pilot though. And watch it by like REALLY good and all of us be like "WHAT?!" Just watch.

Honestly, I don't want to see the pilot! I don't see the point in getting excited about something only to have no more of it. Dangit, I really hope James finds something else; I really want to see him back on TV. 🙁

They took a chance with Ronald Moore's Battlestar Galactica and it ended up being one of the greatest shows in the history of television. I will always respect them for that.

Regardless, no one has seen "Three Inches" so how do you guys know the show doesn't suck? I know James Marsters is incredibly talented, but shows need more than great actors...they need those things called stories

I probably won't be watching the pilot though, if the show is amazing it would just be a tease 😛

I know it doesn't suck because James doesn't pick crappy scripts. The one thing he looks for above all is good writing. Also, SyFy SAID it was good. But they wanted to do some other thing and couldn't find out how to fit Three Inches and that other thing together.

He was in that movie "Shadow Puppets" and that sucked pretty bad... LOL
It does suck for James, though. It would have been nice for him to have gotten a show back on TV again. :\

If it was any other network that MIGHT work for the future or maybe to keep it around to reconsider for a replacement for a show that doesn't work... but because it's SyFy and they're freaking idiots, that's probably not going to to happen.

I honestly think he could do better than Syfy. He always finds himself there, and he could star in a series that is much more... watchable by people. On better network with more ratings. He is very talented, I think he might have wasted himself on Three Inches. That's my honest opinion. So as much as I'm sorry for him, I think this could open better doors.

High Plains Invaders. Possible the worst movie I've ever seen. Mostly due to writing, but the special effects deserve a big part of the credit for making the movie stink.

I liked it! Jeeze... so many people hating on James' work. I love everything I've seen from him... even High Plains Invaders and Shaddow Puppets. maybe I'm biased...
