Ok now that I think about it more now I most identify with Season1 with the whole being new to the school, knowing noone and trying to fit in. Having those people in the school who just hate you without even getting to know you and being sterotyped.
I think that i would have to say season one as well... although im not sure why. I think that its the same as Primal Slayer with the whole starting an new school and getting to know everyone.
I have always gotten along better in season 6...it just flowed in a much more believeable way with me...I got Buffy more...WAY more...with the self loathing and the need to just FEEL something that isn't tainted with thoughts of death...and I understood Willow in that way where you wish you weren't being judged...where you want to just fly...I got Xander with his fear...his inability to get past HIS past...I got Tara with her concerns about how far you let someone you love go...hoping that your love will be enough...and it isn't. And mostly with Spike...how you just want to feel...how being close is exactly what you need...and at first it doesn't even mater if you're being used...how much it hurts when you realize that the person you love hates themself for being with you as if you're not enough...How you can't stand that feeling...or accept it...I love season 6.
i got to go with season 1, with the "new things" and changes in life.. at least thats one of the hardest thing to me, to leave my friends behind and go to a hole new school or class..
but i also identify with season 6.. in the sense that we sometimes can feel apart from everyone, and isolate and alienate oureselfes a bit from the world..
I put season five, right now in my life I defintely find myself relating to that season. Just with the whole "this is the same old crap I've always done, but now I have a whole lot more responsibility" message from that season. It's the season that says taking care of the people around you is more important than any kind of romantic interest you have. That's very much me right now, plus I every couple of days I turn into Hellgoddess who wears cocktail dresses.
I'd say Season 6. I've been through a dark period in my life for the past year, and I identify with the alone feeling you get even when you're surrounded by people. I get the whole wanting to be real and not feel tainted and fake. I just really get that season the most because I've been through it.
I really did not like season five. Oddly enough, I think I identify with it......... Spike's obsession......... Dawn's reaction to what she is........ Joyce's death, Riley's leave, and Buffy's sacrifice. All of it just sort of clicked with me.
I said season 5 because of I could relate to Dawn. She always felt like she wasn't supposed to be there, where did she fit in. How'd she get there, why? I could just relate to her in that season. She felt like she didn't belong...like she wasn't a real part of her family. She felt like she didn't have anyone who was there for her...
season six I think... Whatever season Buffy was like "Life sucks whats life all about anyways. Whats the point? Your born, you live, you die and its the end"
Right now, I identify with s6 the most. I'm at that place where I feel like I need to hide everything from my friends- like Buffy does... with her kind of dark side.
I say 3, because now, Im finishing High School, and Im getting ready to go to college, and its scary, but Im glad I have Buffy to help me deal with this...
