Practically whenever it rains in Baltimore, in the summer, it storms. Rain just can't seem fall down unless he's accompanied by his best friends thunder and lightning.

(I think it has something to do with the temperature, because it significantly changes after one of these storms.)

Is this true in your neck of the woods? Discuss.

That's definitely true for me. Although it never gets really warm during the summer here, when it rains it has to throw a hissy fit and make a lot of noise about it. Had a few good thunderstorms this July.

I live in Oklahoma. Short answer: yes.

Also accompanied by hail and tornadoes sometimes. Storms are more common in the spring and fall though.

There was an epic storm around here last night but that's actually not that common. A lot of times it just rains. Like buckets and buckets. 🙂

Ah, I meant to say. I'm in Scotland, not the US. Probably quite different weather. 😛

I love thunder storms. 😀

Here in southern Ontario, it gets very hot. We've been having some of the hottest days of the summers lately. I can't wait to get another thunder storm.

I also love to watch the movie "Twister" during thunder storms. 😀

we don't get many storms here but if we do its usually early summer or early autumn and the thunder is always really loud and a lot of sheet lighting.

what she said, since I'm in the next county!
I actually LOVE thunder storms.

I love how small and insignificant nature can make you feel. I find it humbling. And strangely reassuring. 😀

Not really, in the winter we get a lot of just rain and in the summer we get a lot of thunderstorms, but we still get just rain in the summer and we still get thunderstorms in the winter.

But I LOVE thunderstorms. They relax me. and also pump me up and get me excited... strange, I know... but that's me. A strange person.
