Tillow vs. Killow

I for one like Tillow (Tara and Willow) but believe it or not there are some Killow (Kennedy and Willow) fans out there

Whereas I believe Tillow were and always will be soulmates, I don't like Killow because it was so soon after Tara's death and I don't like Kennedy, IMO she's one of the most annoying characters in the 'verse

They are soul mates and will always be in this life and the next.

TBH, I do like Killow and had this been a different 'ship thread, I might have sided with them.

There is no need to ask me about this! But for all those who do not know...I ship Tillow. It was far too soon for Willow to have gotten involved with anyone after Tara's death. Willow and Tara were just perfect for eachother. They helped eachother in ways unimaginable. Willow helped Tara with her social awkwardness. Everything Willow did (whether it was right or not) was all for Tara. She always wanted to make their relationship better. Did you ever see her going the extra mile for Kennedy? nope.

I actually think that, had Kennedy been around a bit longer and kind of explored the field, she would have made a good match with Faith(and I'm probably the only one that thinks that lol). Willow & Tara are true love. I mean, even in season 8 she still talks about Tara as her one true love. If anything, I would have preferred for Willow to have stayed single and then to have gotten back together with Oz.

I honestly think that Willow got with Kennedy just so that she wouldn't feel lonely.

Also, it's weird seeing Kennedy as the strong person in the relationship. Willow was always the strongest(apart from Buffy) and now that she's with a potential slayer it's like "Well you could have just had her sleep with Buffy if that's the route you wanted to go on!"

I digress....I have lots to say on the matter but I'll just leave it at this, otherwise, my post would be so long it would be dreadful lol

You can see what the writers were trying to do... get Tara's opposite into the mix and have her be just the right person for Willow. No. It made no sense for Willow to get together with her. She was obnoxious and bratty.

Tillow is beautiful. Willow and Tara just fit. They sparked. They loved. Tara's death and Willow's reaction was possibly my favorite story arc on the show, not because I liked Tara dying, but because it created such complexity for Willow and showed how much Tara meant to her. I don't mind Willow moving on. It's healthy. It's what people have to do. But Kennedy? Kennedy *was* everything that Tara wasn't... and that made her right for Willow how? Kennedy was assertive, yeah. But people can be assertive without being so ridiculously annoying and bratty. Killow just never made sense, never was right, never sparked.

In case you couldn't tell, I feel very strongly about this! 😀

Seriously? There really are Killow Shippers? *raises eyebrows* WOW..... lol only joking i'm sure there is someone out there who prefers that relationship I however am not one of them. Out of the choices above (because i'm more of a Woz shipper) I definitely choose Tillow. They're relationship was sweet, and loving and Tara was just an amazing Character in the first place. As for Kennedy honestly I hate her character she annoyed me and honestly made me wish i could just back hand her most of the time, Their relationship to me I felt was just stupid and pointless other than the fact to have Willow begin to move on.....

I cannot say that i hate Kennedy, because i don't but i didn't like her and Willow together. I have always thought that Willow was best with Tara and i will always continue to believe that.
I think most of the fans don't like Kennedy with Willow because they were upset that the show lost Tara and then suddenly this new girl comes along and tries to take Tara's place.
Kennedy isn't a bad character but she shouldn't have been with Willow, Tara should have still been with Willow until the end of the show.

It is not that I hate Willow and Kennedy it is just I sometimes don't see the point. I think she could have been just fine as a potential no need to add her more into the mix. I for one was a little aggravated that they got together so soon after Tara's death.
I will say it like this Kennedy is a okay character and in a show like this okay just doesn't seem to cut it. She never did anything that stood out to me and sometimes I thought she acted as if she was better than everyone. I don't know maybe that it is that Willow usually has relationships with people that are calmer and a little more likable than Kennedy IMO. I guess they were going for the opposites rule here I don't know. Kennedy is okay Willow is great and I don't think they really needed to be mixed I guess the writers did.

That being said, I hate how quickly we see Willow "recover" from Tara's death. When Oz left, it took longer for her to find Tara than it did for Willow to grieve Tara's death. It was really bad timing, I thought.

Oh, that and I hated Kennedy.

I fully respect everyone's right to their own opinion and I don't want to change that. But it's starting to get kind of tiresome to get the impression that you're nuts if you don't think Kennedy and Killow are some of the worst things this earth has ever seen. Every character on the show got their bad moments and Kennedy isn't an exception and Killow isn't the best ship ever, far from it. But both Kennedy and her relationship with Tillow have good sides to them. Concentrate on the bad things if you want and hate it, but trying (intentially or not) to make us that like them look like morons with no taste what so ever leaves a sour taste. Multiple a 100 or something and I guess that's what the Twilight lovers on the board are used to.

With that said, the answer here is a no brainer to me. Tillow all the way. Easy my favourite ship on the show and one of my all time favourites. Yet it's not perfect either. Don't remember what thread it was in but I've read some interesting points about the bad sides of Willow and Tillow. Kean can you help out? I'm sure you wrote a lot of it.

Actually, that's something I never thought about before, but it does make a lot of sense. Kennedy would have to be the submissive one though, Faith's not really one to take orders from too many people.
