Tim Burton

He made one film that I like - Sweeney Todd.

Hmm..did he make pirates of the caribbean? Just guessing that since Johnny Depp is in it. 😛

No, from what I've seen and thought I wouldn't say I'm a fan. I love Beetlejuice, and Batman Returns. I also like The Nightmare Before Christmas of course, but I don't really credit Tim Burton for that one.
Edward Scissorhands is just okey, so is Ed Wood, Batman and Corpse Bride.
But, Big Fish, Planet of The Apes, Sleepy Hollow, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeny Todd, Mars Attacks are all awful movies.

Wouldn't really call myself a fan - I find a good bulk of his movies to be utter crap, but there are some I enjoy. Nightmare Before Christmas, Sweeney Todd, And Beetlejuice. Beyond that, I think he is fairly untalented and massively overrated.

Also: He and Johnny Depp REALLY need to take a break from one another. It'd be nice to see Depp in something that isn't Burton-y. I honestly can't recall any movies he's been in, aside from POTC, without Burton involved in the last 10 years. I'd love to see the man in something actually *GOOD* again.

There are a few pieces of his work that I enjoy, however I am indifferent to most of his work, so no I can't say I am a fan. I think I enjoy his sketches and art more than his work in film.

I can't stand his gothic movies with the twist of weird humor... I donM't like the guy and I think he's been allowed to make movies for way too long.

I didn't know he made some of the Batman movies... Those are probably his only movies I like.

I wouldn't call myself a fan, but I also wouldn't say that I dislike him in any way. I believe there is definitely a place in the market for him and that I do not fall in to this market.

I do love Edward Scissorhands and think that his career peaked with that movie unfortunately. Kind of like a one hit wonder that never quite manages to achieve the same catchy tune again.
I hugely enjoyed the movie Ed Wood. Coincidentally I am actually just about to rewatch it right now! Although I have a feeling one of the main reasons that I love the movie so much is because I am fascinated by the entire topic of Bgrade horror movies.
Sleepy Hollow was also fantastic and incredibly well done. I wouldn't say it was one of my favourite movies of all time but definitely will watch it again some time in the next few years. Solid story, perfect blend of sense of humour and Depp was BRILLIANT in it.

I used to be the biggest Burton fan, but I found out that as I grew up, I became less of a fan. I still enjoy his movies very much but I don't find them brilliant anymore. I think they are somehow redundant, always the same kind of weird characters that don't really fit in, the same type of humoresque horror, and most of all, the characters like depth, which is my biggest problem. They are too often black or white, boring/dull or original.

So yeah, I still enjoy his work, but I'm much less of a fan than I used to be.

They like depth? Do you have a problem with that because you don't like the deep end of the pool by any chance? :P ;)
