I don't know what to think here, really. So many possibilities.
I know folks have speculated endlessly about the concept of said movie...could Spike actually be a straightforward hero/leading man? He's perfect as a foil for Angel"”a snarky, obnoxious tormentor. He's become more human. Thank God they gave him some attitude again on Angel...
Maybe he should be a reluctant hero. Like I've said, I can't see him leading a team. But, if this were a true ensemble piece, with Illyria, Faith, Andrew (just dreamin' here)...he needs someone to hate, insult"”mockery being his forte. His relationships with those three characters have so much unexplored (possibly weird) potential, I think.
I've only seen the first ep of Wonderfalls so far, but I love the look, the setting. Would be nice to get them out of Cali. Maybe Boston or Cleveland or something. Would this have some sort of continuity with the end of Angel? Post-apocalyptic? I could almost imagine a semi-comic tone as well, like "˜Falls.
Would they design this movie in such a way that it's pleasing to fans, yet doesn't depend on a thorough knowledge of events, characters in the "˜Verse?
