Wow. I'm tempted to buy just for the cover. It's amazing.
 
Wow, I hadn't seen it was going to be so long a wait... But the cover is amazing, really mindblowing, I went all "woooow". I'll buy it, I have to anyway; with a friend we buy one comic for two, and then when the TPB comes out, one of us gets it and the other one keeps the comics. I know you don't care. I'm just glad that's my turn to buy it for Time of Your Life.
 
The covers on these comics/TPB's have been amazing.

I almost never buy the TPB's of comics that I already own all the issues of. But here, I have to make an exception.

Season Eight isn't going to be the end of it, I hope. I know there are tentative plans for further seasons beyond this one.

In a recent lettercol it was mentioned that the Fake Buffy living in Rome with the Immortal will be dealt with in Season 10... don't know if that was just a flip answer or if they really are planning as far ahead as that.
 
Is it me or is the cover art getting worse? The first two covers were great, the third terrible, and this one not too bad, but not that good either D=

Mel doesn't look very Fray-like to me. Probably cos she's not based on an actress. She looks like the generic "types" that Jo Chen uses for Runaways, etc.

I agree the 1st two trades had the best covers. Buffy looks pretty amazing here though.
 
What would have been cool is if the team got actors' permission to use their likeness for original Season Eight comic characters.

For example, Satsu can be based off of Bai Ling.
 
I like the cover but of course I have liked 99% of her covers. I agree with Fray not looking like Fray but I can deal with that. I laughed at how Willows hair branches across the cover and seems to change a little at the ends.
