They are trying to get more scripted shows in because of the advertisment failures the realality shows were getting. I watched a special on this on TV.

Seems Fox is trying to out run the station that has C.S.I going because of the high rateings. Guess this would explain all the new shows coming and and the bar raisings for shows.

As long as people are aware of Tru before the pilot airs, If the pople are aware of this awesome show then we wont have to worry about it. Really how many 'friends' fans do we have here?? Im not a fan of that show.I hate it!!😡
 
I watch Friends. it's not my favorite show. I usually watch Survivor on Thurs. (if it's on), but that's getting old. Friends has its fans and they are going to always watch it.

The other networks are trying to do the same thing with putting on new shows that are counterprogramming. ABC has a 24 type show and WB has teen comedies. Those shows are going to start in September. Fox better show ads for Tru constantly or everyone is going to already have their Thursday night viewing figured out by the time it premieres.
 
Your right and fox better get going on the ads or tru wont last a season Sure the members of this forum isnt going to keep tru going by itself The WB, FOX, and UPN seem to be the networks that have the most teen shows but i think that tru is at least on the right station if not in the right time slot! Fox has some pretty good shows and a lot of people watch that station so i think that maybe tru will come out okay.
 
I have lots of friends who are fans of, "Friends." I'm trying to convert them...Well, I'm begging them to at least tune in for Tru Calling when it airs.

Could Fox have actully chose a worse time slot? Oh wait, it's FOX we're talking about, THEY CAN. I swear just someone please give them a little common sense.....for our sake?
 
I have to e-mail all my friends about tru, but the problem is they never chech their e-mail!!!! Im going to tell them before it airs though, believe me!!

I think that the reason that FOX hasnt aired more ads for tru is becuz it may actually be airing in late october or november! That what i think becuz it just wouldnt make any sense if tru is premiering on the 4th and there hasnt beeen any hipe about it!
Like take that new show O.C. Its airing tommorow and fox has been advertising it since early july so i think we got the premier date wrong.
Is the 8:00 eastern time or central time?

Fox is just like any other station. Shows like buffy, tru, and angel (although angels going downhill fast) will never gain any real respect. Freakin nazis! Down with the system! I have nooo idea whether this will be a good show or not, but the fact that a buffy character got another show beyond their previous character is reason enough for me to tune in!
 
Yeah your right, Its nice to see a buffyverse character get away from the show and stand on their own two feet.

What do you mean Angel is going downhill fast? No way!
