Has anyone caught the Scifi mini series Tin Man yet? I am on the 3rd part right now. I just started it a few minutes ago. I just wanted to find out if anyone here watched it and how you liked it if you did. It's actually a lot better than I thought it would be. Some people are giving it flack which I don't think it deserves. Zooey Deschanel, whom I LOVE, is not at her finest acting in this film but I am still enjoying her in it. Too bad she doesn't sing.
Anyways, I am not finished yet but when I am I can come back and give my review.

Here it is at IMDB for reading

I just finished it. I think the ending could have had maybe a few more minutes but otherwise I really enjoyed it. I can't wait until it comes to dvd. I read March 2008. Feels so long away.

If you cannot see it on tv you can watch it online.

I loved it!!! You're right about it needing a few more minutes at the end, more sister time.

Spoilers:

But the whole Sister basically trapping her own sister in her body for how many years was it? 15? 20? Wow, I don't know if I would have forgiven her for letting go. Maybe in another month haha, maybe that's why they didn't have any more sister/sister time at the end.

I watched it all the way through yesterday and thought it was very well done, especially for a Sci-Fi Channel original whatever (their original movies tend to suck). I'm still a little fuzzy on why the witch wanted the whole world dark, though. Was that ever explained? Or was it just an evil thing?

I thought that with the dark, evil ruled the world more or less? Everything beautiful would die, leaving the ugly stuff...like her. I mean I am not clear either but that would be my take. I thought that only by darkness she could properly rule.

I figured it was something like that; I guess I just got grouchy that they didn't specify, kind of leaving the bad guy (gal) motivationless.
