'Tis the Season...to watch Amends!

So, has anybody watched Amends during this Christmas season? My kids begged to see it yesterday. I did fast forward through the single sex scene lol, but they really liked it. Then the middle one asked to watch "the Angel episode where Buffy goes to see Angel after he comes back at Thanksgiving and she doesn't know that he's there". So, we watched IWRY, again with some editing. But my God kid, are you trying to break this Bangel's little heart?! Amends and IWRY in one sitting?!

Commiserations on having to skip the best parts in both episodes. LOL. I have not been rewatching the tv series since the end of S8. But maybe this time I will at the very least watch Amends.

Some girl who then won an extra's spot on The Prom. I don't know her name, I'm sure somebody here does!

It's funny you mentioned this because my sister and I were just talking about wanting to watch some of our favorite holiday episodes. So far we have decided to watch The O.C.: “The Best Chrismukkah Ever”, BTVS "Amends", and Friends: “The Holiday Armadillo”. 😀

Indeed!. Watched it yesterday the first time after a year or so break. Loved it as always. Got warm fuzzies for Oz - Willow as always. Not everybody worship's Santa. LOL. And then to the main course. Just seeing all that snow coming down always makes me melt inside. Joss is a darn genius - evil as he is.

I watched it! I like Amends, because it's the last time Jenny appears in the series (besides from in "Him" in a flashback). And she's super creepy in this one. I love it. 😀

Me2 - she so great at being evil - I was so shocked but delighted haaa I thinks she great at tormenting Angel and when he's going to go kill himself, she says something like oh its not supposed to be this way and then "but it will do!" the way she says that, with her expression - WOW I wish so much she came back in S7 as the First again!

I do love this episode - planning to watch it today! 🙂

I'm having a rewatch marathon of the whole Buffy series, I'm nearly up to Amends, I cant wait for it, its one of my favorite bangel episodes.

I don't particularly like Amends, probably due to the crappy snowstorm thing. I don't plan to watch it any time soon!

I've just finished watching it. I love the snow at the end, yea its a little out there but who doesnt wish for snow on Christmas.

I love all the Buffy/Angel scenes. When Angel goes to Buffy's bedroom it does seem like he's about to break and just take her, I'm glad he comes to his sences though. When Jenny as the First tells Angel that he was born to hurt Buffy and Angel chooses to die instead was such a show of love. The act was so selfless. The scene on the hilltop was so emotional as well. I'm glad that Angel and Buffy were so honest with each other, Angel telling Buffy that he wants to take comfort in her, and he knows that it will cost him his soul and a part of him doesnt care, and Buffy unwilling to let Angel give up and die. Its heartbreaking.
