I was just talking to an old friend yesterday about the way things have changed at the movies and that got me to thinking about the old seriels that we used to watch. So here is what I want to ask here...
How would you like a tv series (Use Buffy as a model if you wish) that has the old serial format (for those of you too young to remember, the serials were short features accompanying the regular feature, usually on Saturday afternoon divided into a dozen or so episodes, each ending in a cliffhanger that would be resolved the next installment), i.e., one single story continuing throughout the entire season, I guess sort of like the original "24" concept, with a cliffhanger ending each week?
