Need a little extra luck? Today, the planets will align to provide just that.

According to prolific astrologist Susan Miller, Aug. 26 will be the luckiest day of the year for every astrological sign. On Wednesday, Jupiter will conjoin with the Sun, something that happens once a year, always on a different day and in a different sign.

Miller says that each sign will enjoy different displays of good fortune on the year's luckiest day. Entrepreneurs who are Libras, Leos and Aries are promised a particularly good day when it comes to money and business. Capricorns, Sagittarius, Scorpios and Cancers will enjoy benefits of the competitive edge, with major payoffs coming from business negotiations, presentations and promotions.

Still, even Miller believes that you can't wait for luck to come to you – you have to work to make luck happen.

"To do best, you must show your intent by being out and about and being interested in opportunities that come your way," she writes in August's Taurus horoscope. "Nothing happens if you stay home!"

Whether or not you believe in astrology, you can take that advice to heart. Spend tomorrow making a "passionate effort toward a great goal," and hope that on the luckiest day of the year, your efforts can conjure up some entrepreneurial results.

Miller's Astrologyzone.com reportedly attracts 6.5 million readers a month.

Well. I'm really not having a lucky day so far! My internet was down from 9am-1pm which meant I couldn't message my friend to make plans for today. Nightmare. Then it turns out my other half accidentally picked up my credit card instead of his so that also put a stall on the day. Will see what happens when I head out.

I remember once when I was on my way to work on the underground, I read my horoscope for the day in a paper someone had left behind. It said something along the lines of "wear yellow today for luck". I was wearing yellow that day, I had my swede mustardy yellow jacket on -- then on my way home from work I found a 20 pound note in the grass on a derelict pathway near the motorway (I worked in a garage and it was difficult to get to). Weird eh. It might have been me who dropped it on my way to work though.

That Susan Miller was talking a load of crap when she maintains you have to go outside to get lucky, what of the people who work at home? To maintain they should leave their work to find luck about the comment you can't wait for good luck to come to you, how did she come to be so thick?
There are millions of people who write for a living how many of them require that detail of inspiration in order to help them continue. So to state, "Nothing happens if you stay at home." That comment defies logic.
So what does the term, Prolific astroloder mean? Prolific might mean someone (animal, mineral or vegetable) that does the same a lot of times it does not mean the person (animal, mineral or vegetable) could be spouting utter bullshit.

I think they call her prolific just because of her popularity and the amount of content she puts out. I'm pretty sure she does different daily, weekly, monthly and yearly horoscopes and what not.
That made me think of:
"We're getting married"
"Are you knocked up"

That's pretty much exactly how it happened. We did plan to do marriage first but you know... He proposed to me on my birthday when I was 3 months pregnant. Could have killed him/said yes.
