To the surprise of many at LeakyCon 2012, Amber Benson popped up to join Maureen Johnson and Robin Wasserman for a pajama-clad lampooning of a certain blockbuster film. This year, she’s joining the con for a whole lot more! Having played the musically gifted Wiccan, Tara Maclay on the hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Amber is joining LeakyCon Portland to talk vampires, witches, and other supernatural geekery.
LC is also announcing that Amber will be joined at LeakyCon by her Buffy co-star Tom Lenk! After playing the villainous Andrew Wells on Buffy, Tom portrayed a snarky intern in Joss Whedon’s Cabin in the Woods and has most recently starred alongside other fan favorites in Whedon’s adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing, in which he played opposite Nathan Fillion to hilarious effect.
