You really do learn something new everyday, seems that Buffy producer Jane Espenson has been busy! She's put together a live theater performance based on the "Golden Girls" TV series, only the main characters are gay men! And the cast includes some familiar faces 🙂

And it's recently been announced here that Enver Gjokaj will also be joining the cast as a "young doctor that's involved in a love triangle with the three house-mates".
 
Sounds a bit weird but hopefully it'll be a lot of fun. Never watched much of the series so I don't have feelings for it. If I had this would probably feel even weirder.
 
haha I love the Golden Girls, this sounds... odd. But perhaps odd enough to work (I almost jumped up and down with joy seeing Enver Gjokaj in the thread title 🙂)
 
Wait... what? This sounds so bizarre that it might actually work, lol. But technically, they're all pretty young, so they're not... golden? Seems kind of pointless then, because that was half the fun of Golden Girls!
