Tony Head signing - 29th June

That's so cool! But does anyone know why there seem to be so many signings by Buffy castmembers in England, but none in the US? It makes me sad.... ::sniff::
 
I dunno... over here BUffy seems to have a massive cult following... that could be the reason why Joss has decided to reward us by Filming an episode here in the UK... think I might be buying 'The Stage' to see if any adds for extras or crew end up in there 😀

No way is it sad! I'll be doing the same thing Lindsey! *lol* You should get Willow to have a look too... it would be really funny if all three of us were extras on a Buffy episode!

No no, that would be scary......scary scary things are running through my head now. So long as we don't let Faith along as well; I mean, Faith and Lindsey McDonald, well let's just say things could get out of hand easily. I have trouble controlling LM at the best of times. We would scare the whole crew so much!!! oh and Lindsey honey, you're always sad, it's why you like me so much 😀

There's only a lot of signings when cast members make it to the UK for a convention ... major convention season over here this year was one in May and three in June - therefore, the cast members can be persuaded to stick around and explore the country a little with extra signings.

However, Tony Head is now living back in England with his family and has done a lot more UK work - therefore he's not making any extra trips for signing.

James Marsters however is doing a couple of signings after the SFX convention this weekend before heading out to Paris and then I guess back to the US.

Also in the UK there are 2 major buffy/angel convention organisers ... Sector14 and Starfury. They do their best to accommodate fans of the shows when guests are over and many extra signings are in conjunction with our major scifi shop Forbidden Planets. I suppose we have the advantage that the UK is smaller than the US and where possible people can travel distances to conventions/events.

I don't know how many events are held in the US or why more events aren't held. There is already the Bronzers Posting Board Party in February that usually has a good collection of guests at. Metro Entertainment holds signings on a regular basis, and the Creep Con convention appears to be yearly.
