Damn! Too slow Pointy, getting old 🙂
I meant to post this when I saw it on the BBC Cult site earlier. The show New Tricks had a pilot last year and Mrs P and I enjoyed it, though Tony Head was not in it...

I wish I could see everything but... It comes... If it comes to channel 1 over here Im not gonna see it (channel 1 over here is a real sleep pill)

Hey, we get the BBC, I could watch it, though I'll probably forget 🙁

Isn't cold case about bringing up old cases from the past to solve them. Just going on the ads. Might see an episode if its not clashing with something else.

I posted over in the thread in Anthony's forum about it being a copy to Cold Case, why can't people think up new ideas these days, we keep getting programs which are just like others out there.

It does sound like Cold Case but I'm taping it anyway. I think Anthony Heads character is going to be called Sir Tim, according to my TV guide. *pats Night & Day*

We finally got round to watching the ep of "New Tricks" which features ASH. He isn't a recurring character, as seemed to be suggested earlier, but he put in a competent and charming performance as Sir Tim, an art expert employed to look after the royal pictures at Buckingham Palace.

It's not the best show on TV (or even the best "detective show with a twist") but it was still a pleasant enough way to spend an hour watching telly. It's the sort of comedy/drama that the BBC does very well (albeit a bit "by the numbers") with a cast of well-known British TV veterans who can do this sort of thing with their eyes shut🙂
