Interesting that out of the top 10, only the 10th movie is not produced by Disney.

Disney have such a monopoly it's hardly surprising. I'm surprised Glass is as high as it is in the list though, I mean it looks great but it's no way as hyped as the likes of the Disney remakes are. I'd say Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is more anticipated, but maybe that's just me.....

Most of these movies just don't need to be produced. Toy Story is the perfect trilogy, and as much as I love the idea for a fourth it's just not necessary. Same as the Dumbo, Aladdin & Lion King "live action remakes". But then, it's all about the benjamins so they'll still keep churning them out.....

My guess is its because Split really surprised people so there's excitement that M. Night's career might actually be back on track. If he hits two home runs in a row I will be scared😀

One thing I'm interested to see is Happy Death Day 2U (That's your valentines date movie sorted for you guys in the US😉). The first film was one of the surprises of 2017. I think the format of the film could lend itself to a sequel but also I may end up feeling it should have been left as a standalone. At least Jesscia Rothe is back. She was great in the first film🙂

But those weren't voted on "as by the fans" that's why there is such a big disparity. "Movie fans" clearly want Disney movies and sequels.
 
My list would probably be a mix of that list and The Guardian’s.

But yeah Once Upon A Time in Hollywood definitely is one of my most anticipated movies of 2019.

Yup - that point was made BTL on The Guardian. Some of the movies on the Fandango list are in the second tier of The G's list.

It's just a shame that comic books and sequels are the only movies that make money anymore. Or make a good deal of money. Hell, the soulless suits even made a sequel for Sicario in a cash grab attempt.
 
Sebastian has said the last time he filmed something for Marvel was in 2017. He also said he wasn't in Avengers: Endgame.

But...this doesn't necessarily mean that Bucky won't be in it. You know how secretive the Marvel people are, even with the actors. There's a strong possibility that Sebastian filmed some Endgame scenes without even knowing it.

Remember, I called it!
 
I won't deny I'm intrigued by OUATIH but it also bugs me because it feels like Tarantino just exploiting something serious from the real world just to make a pulpy B-movie and to try and shock. Also like most QT films since Jackie Brown it's likely to disappointment😉

The Russo Brothers also said the title of the next Avengers movie wasn't spoken in Infinity War.....

Turned out to be Endgame. Something Doctor Strange says in Infinity War.

They're notorious for, shall we say, misdirection..... 😉 I fully expect Sebastian Stan to show up in Endgame.
 
Who are these Fandango folk?
Are those lists only about films made in USA?
It must be a shame that comic books and sequels to films are the only films to make money anymore, in the USA.
Luckily for the rest of the world we have many good films made that have nothing to do with Marvel etc:. And those quality films from the other countries continue to make lots of money.

He has a nine-film contract with Marvel, so I also expect to see him. And Bucky Barnes is an immensely popular character...it would be foolish not to include him.

But Loki WILL be in it, no question. Even though Thanos said, "No resurrections this time." 😅 I do enjoy the misdirection, honestly. Its sneaky, and makes it harder for leaks to get out. I admire the craftiness! But I also think that Sebastian knows something about Endgame. C'mon, now! He has a Marvel contract, for God's sake. (Fans aren't completely dim, Marvel!) As for Loki, Tom has been in hiding for awhile, so I have no idea what he may or may not know. 😜

Marvel just confirmed a wild fan theory about a character who died in ‘Infinity War’
