Top 10 anticipated movies of 2019

1. ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD (Tarantino, Leo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie already has me sold (loved Leo & Margo in Wolf of Wall St.) and I love Tarantino movies (Pitt in Inglorious Basterds was amazing), I love horror and have always been intrigued by how enigmatic Sharon Tate was and the depth and darkness of the Manson murders. Plus, it's going to be so atmospheric, scary and brutal no doubt.
2. The Lion King
3. Aladdin (I don't care- Aladdin, The Lion King & The Little Mermaid were always my favorites so I'm excited)
4. Dark Phoenix (even though I can't stand Jennifer Lawrence)
5. Spider Man Far From Home (because I loved SM Homecoming so much)
6. Avengers Endgame (I'm not even that into it but I do love action movies so I'll probably check it out)
7. Happy Death Day 2 U (Sorry, I love black comedies and the first one made me laugh)
8. Toy Story 4!
9. Childs Play (omg Chucky just won't die!)
10. Kingsman: Great Game (I LOVE these movies, especially the first one. The depopulation agenda is real!)

You should see Robbie in I, Tonya, she's fantastic.

+1 for I, Tonya. It's an incredible movie and Margot Robbie is outstanding.
Do any films come out at midnight? Attend a midnight movie premiere is on my New Year's Resolutions list.

Star Wars probably will have one

NeonSlayer

I could dress up as a Jedi. I even have a talking Yoda doll and lightsaber.
Star Wars probably will have one

Yeah I think that will be in its traditional December slot. But I'm not sure what it will? Another spin-off or another continuation?

David Harbour as Hellboy sounds exciting to me. Neil Marshall of the Descent fame is directing🙂

@NeonSlayer I went to London a few years ago to the Age of Ultron premiere (not seeing the film just the red carpet) that was a long night but you meet all sorts of people and just chat making the time go by faster

I bet you are one of those weird people that talk to the stranger sitting next to you on an airplane too, arent you?
Oh no, I want empty seats next to me so I can sleep, if not it's headphones the entire flight, flying is different it's the horribly boring part of traveling

That's why I could never go to Japan or OZ. I would go mad on the plane. 8 hour flight is long enough. Too long. And the airline movies aren't some of the top 10 anticipated movied of 2019.

What, you could never go to OZ, oh dear I am so disappointed.

I used to want to get an MA in Film Studies, work on a set, and become a tv series staff writer. Years ago I spent $150 buying a mini camcorder because I was going to direct my own web series.

I also wanted to go the Roger Ebert route and review films. Or work for Entertainment Weekly.

It's good you didn't watch Age of Ultron on the big screen. That movie sucked hard I can't imagine seeing it on a screen the size of a wall.

Reviewing films has been my long term goal too. I at least do it voluntary for a radio station and have had work published.

You can still review movies. I do. 🙂

I went to a midnight premiere of Twilight: New Moon years ago, because we thought it’d make it free of really annoying, swoony, teenagers.

That did not work out as planned.

I almost got into a fight at that movie! over a seat.

Then you would've just loved our flight to Hawaii! 😉
We figured we'd layover in LA. However, our goofy airline somehow decided that Cleveland to St Louis then on to Honolulu was the way to go. 🙄 We were on the plane for like 13 hours! For some krazy reason they had us flying over San Francisco! 🤔 Now I'm not an expert, but a straight line from St Louis to Honolulu takes you nowhere near San Fran! Kind of think that they just fly over interesting things so the pilot can point them out along the way. Maybe they think the passengers will be bored, or something? Remember falling asleep over the ocean, and waking up and we're still over the darned ocean! 😩 That wasn't even the worst plane ride of the trip, though. The island hopping prop plane during a thunderstorm takes that prize. 🥉 Nothing like looking out the window and seeing lightning way too close to the wing! 😲

I wonder if there's a way of finding out what films are showing on flights, it won't be new films but given how rarely I watch films there's probably something I haven't seen before

Seems like I'll have plenty of choice, at least on the way, Turkish airlines didn't show a list, but they have Disney so I expect they will have something on there too

The Air France is sorta misleading as they list everything. You have to refine it by area of travel.

So that's Supervolcano on the way there and Super Storm on the way back. No aircraft disaster films.
