Top 20 Buffy Episodes

here is my top20 episodes (not in order)

1: Welcome 2 the Hellmouth, Angel, Prophecy girl

2: School Hard, Innocence, Passion, Becoming pt2

3: Lovers Walk, The Wish, Helpless, Doppelgangland

4: Harsh light of Day, Initiative, Hush, Who are You?, Restless

5: Buffy v Dracula, Fool For Love, the Gift

6: Bargaining 2

Although 6 and 7 are good seasons, the fact is the episodes themselves are not as good.
its more about the characters and the overall theme of where they're at.

7. Chosen, Conversations with Dead People

Those are my 20, really broken down by season. But Im very surprised you didn't have the greatest episode ever in OMWF and 2 other amazing episodes in The Body and CWDP

Haha. Yep, they are. Haha. But I adore season 3 the most as a whole, you know what I mean?
once more wf, is a great episode but it would probably be in my top 25. the body is a big episode but its too slow moving.
 
I don't know about Top 20 but I can give you my favorites! 🙂

1. The Pack, Prophecy Girl
2. Halloween, Ted, BB&B, Passions, Becoming Pt. 2
3. Homecoming, Band Candy, Helpless, The Zeppo, Grad. Day Pt.1
4. Living Conditions, Beer Bad, Wild at Heart, Hush, Goodbye Iowa, New Moon Rising, The Yoko Factor, Primeval

6. Once More, With Feeling (Why didn't you put that down!!!!!), Tabula Rasa, Normal Again, The whole Willow Trilogy thing (Villians, Two To Go, Grave)

Beer Bad, Really? Argueably the worst buffy ep. ever, i like your other choices though
its definetly tough to choose. no matter what if you pick a top 20 you got to leave loads of good ones out.

2. Passion, Innocence, Becoming pt. 2
3. Doppelgangland, Lovers Walk, Earshot
4. Hush, Who Are You?, Restless
5. The Body, Tough Love (highly underrated episode), The Gift
6. Once More, With Feeling, Villains, Two to Go, Grave. Tabula Rasa is completely overrated, and I can't understand why everyone is obsessed with it. I mean, it was kind of funny, but it was a far cry from one of the best episodes ever.
7. Selfless, Conversations With Dead People, Storyteller. In fact, the only ones I liked after the Potentials came in were Get It Done, Storyteller, Potential, Touched, and Chosen.

Well, that wasn't really my top 20 episodes, but it was my top few from each season. I'd have a few more episodes from seasons 3 and 6 in there if I was just listing my top 20. And I wasn't too fond of season 1, which is why I only added one episode from it.

Also, Beer Bad is unpopular because of the ridiculously obvious, beat-you-over-the-head-with-it message (which is "BEER IS BAD, DON'T DRINK IT!) I personally didn't think it was terrible, but it's definitely not one of my favorites.

You like Afterlife? I have to say, that's probably one of the most boring episodes I've ever seen...
This is gonna be hard, and like others, this list will probably have changed by tomorrow...

I don´t know if I would call them the best, more like personal favorites. And sometimes just a single moment can make me love an episode even if the rest of it was mediocre( by Buffy-standard).

Season 2 - Passion
Season 3 - Band candy, Doppelgangland
Season 4 - Hush, Restless (but I really hated it the first time)
Season 5 - Family, Fool for love, The Body, Intervention
Season 6 - Once More With Feeling, Tabula Rasa, Seeing red
Season 7 - Conversations with dead people, Storyteller, Chosen
 
I'm actually getting ready to re-watch all my DVD's again, in my spare time, from beginning to end, so my list may change since I'll be watching it with fresh eyes. As of now, here's how my Top 20 stacks up:

Now bear in mind, I'm doing my own favorite top 20 (or so) because well, I don't know what would be the actual top 20- they all seem to match in quality, dammit.

Season 1: The Witch, Nightmares, Prophecy Girl
Season 2: School Hard, The Dark Age, Ted, Bad Eggs, Surprise/Innocence, Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, I Only Have Eyes For You, Becoming
Season 3: Dead Man's Party, Band Candy, Gingerbread, Helpless, Earshot, Graduation
Season 4: Hush, Something Blue, This Year's Girl/Who Are you?, Superstar, Restless
Season 5: Buffy vs Dracula, Real Me, No Place Like Home, Listening to Fear, Into the Woods, Checkpoint, Blood Ties, Crush, Intervention.
Season 6: Hell's Bells, Normal Again
Season 7: Him, Help, Chosen.

I know that's way more than twenty- but shut up. I tried to so hard to narrow it down and I did. A little. It just ended up that my definition of narrow was impressively wide....whoops.

Passion, The Body, Forever and The Gift are also in there because they are just amazing episodes but waaaay too sad to put in my top 20. Haha.
