Top 5 best and worse outfits/wardrobes/costumes.

So who had the right duds and whos outfits where just plan duds? Per character


Willow: Top 5
5: The softer side of Sears-makeing an apperance twice (Welcome to the Hellmouth-Restless) Our first glimps of Willow sets up alot of who she is.
4: Willows first visit to Racks with that tied up look we see a diffrant side of Will
3: Lets hit the beach Buffy vs Dracula a simple pair of cut offs and red bathing top covered by a sencable shirt tells a lot about Willow the later years. Theres a new found confadence in her
2: Halloween ...who is that girl indeed..Short skirt check short top check nice core/abs check and check out the new Willow ...but that was the point.
1:This is almost a give me but then when Allyson plays both side of the outfit one where shes very comfertable in the Vamp outfit...then when she has to act like it bothers her is brillantly done.

For the best:

1) Buffy: She always looked great, clothing wise (and...um...in a few other areas as well 😀). Ridiculously attractive girl in leather and workout clothes? I'm sold.

2) Angel: I've always thought of Angel as the epitome of cool. He rocked the long jackets with full billowyness. He really looked like a hero, and his outfits always suited him. Even when he went undercover and had just plain goofy outfits, he always fit the part.

3) Faith: See above for Summers, Buffy.

4) Lindsey: He always looked sharp. Not everyone can pull off the black suit and tie look, but Lindsey always did. As his character progressed his dress changed, and he had the cowboy look down too.

5) Wesley: He went through, by far, the most radical character transformations of any character on either show, and the way he looked reflected that. His pompous and stuffy suits on Buffy suited him perfectly and as he evolved into a badass on Angel, he rocked the grizzled look too.

For the worst:

Tough to think of a top five, really. In the latter stages of S4 through S5 and S6, I thought Willow and Tara just looked silly most of the time, to be honest. It's not a knock on them as characters, it was just the long dresses they always seemed to wear looked pretty weird to me. It didn't really seem to suit the show. I mean, just thinking logically, if you're a group of demon hunters, why would you dress like that? Always seemed silly to me.

But... I must say that I think Willow in that Eskimo outfit was one of the cutest moments in the entire series. 😱

- Spikes simple black tshirt was my fav.. simple but effective 😛

- I really liked this outfit of Buffy's. It shows shes grown up but still cute

- This one is hard to see (i couldnt find a better pic) its from the episode 'the harsh light of day' and Buffy is wearing black trousers, a black top with thin straps at the back and she worse a black leather jacket. i liked.

I know theres already 5 and that was super hard as i liked soo many. but these are the outifts that made me smile...

And of course willows fuzzy jumpers 🙂

I totally agree. Almost every single outfit we ever see Tara in makes me cringe. And Willow's fashion seemed to be very cute in Season 4 and then drift off into crazy in the later seasons, for the most part.

Haha, okay Willow for me ranges from best to worst dressed... on one hand, she has that adorable outfit on in Tabula Rasa... then there's the elmo skin. In Bargaining, she wore what I SWEAR was the pelt of Elmo. Fluffy, red, short-sleeved... I just DIDN'T understand it at ALL.

Tara wore maybe 3 or 4 good outfits in the entire series... GOD they dressed her badly. And that gold ankle-length cardigan thing? Wtf was with that, and why did they put her in it repeatedly?

Buffy's outfits were usually good, but dear God if they're not putting a bra on her, crank up the heat... her nipples became the star of most of her outfits.

I liked Anya's 1950s look, always very cute.

As for the boys, I liked the simple - Spike's t-shirts, Angel's button-ups (or maybe just no shirts at all. Yes, they should all just be naked the entire time).

The show's wardrobe was at best inconsistent - sometimes it was GREAT and they were all dressed really well, and other times it was terrifyingly foul.

Lol, that's what I think everytime I see Buffy running around in high heels... it looks good but I mean... really? All that demon-slaying and she's clomping around in heels... not the most comfortable, practical or sneakiest footwear...


Best outfits is hard, I think all of the characters at times have cute outfits but just the same all of them have just horrid, horrid outfits as well.

One of my fave outfits is though Cordy in "Rm w a vu" when she's in a simple tank and comfy pants, good look for her! Cordy is probably the most well-dressed female character in my opinion!

Buffy had a lot of hit and misses. Some things were really cute, a lot (including her prom dress) were costume nightmares to my taste

Willow had a lot of cute t-shirts with prints during season 4 but later one wore strange fluffy, furry, knitted stuff that I didn't get but that I supposed meant to reflect hers and Tara's "new agey wiccan-ness"...

With the exception of a simple white tanktop I can't remember Faith ever wearing anything I thought was particularly flattering...

As for the boys I'll have to think...
I like Angel's style a lot, but I think he's one of the few who can pull it off oh and Spike's style is insanely well-fitting for him! (I get so disturbed when he wears that blue top in a season 7 episode... so wrong... nice muscles... but so wrong! Black t-shirt for him!)

I loved a lot of the clothes in the show (and equally, quite a few revolted me. Quite a few) but what I always seemed to notice that the pants they put Sarah in always hung strange or were too short or well, just didn't seem right. Did anyone else notice this?

I will have to go back and add more. But I really dug Oz with the Louisville shirt and overshirt. Sometimes his wardrobe was a bit off and sometimes it was off enough to be right..

This might be a sign of my old age, but I feel a bit uneasy when I see Buffy wearing such short skirts in some of the episodes... especially with all the running and slaying she does, I get worried that she'll flash someone 😛

The chunky heels bother me in S2, especially when they're worn with pants that don't go down all the way to the ankle, but that's just me -- I always look at shoes.

Willow has some bad outfits, but they're mostly a cute sort of "bad outfit."
