Ok so inspired by the thread on your top 5 gang members from any TV show. I wondered the same for books.. So who would be in your own scooby gang from any books you've read from any time period.

But to spice things up a bit, pick two sets. Set 1 the group you'd like to be in your social gang like the TV thread. Set 2 who you'd like to be in your gang if we lived in an Alt world more like BTVS battling against the forces of darkness (or goodness as the case may be). So your regular scoobies and your action scoobies.

But you still have to hang with your action scoobies so no one you think you'd hate like... say... the White Witch from narnia. Although if you like her then thats cool.

Anyway if you can't pick two sets just go with one of either.

So for my regular scoobies

1. Albus Dumbledore.
2. Frodo Baggins.
3. Fred and George Weasley.
4. Will Parry (The Subtle Knife).
5. Aslan of Narnian fame.....not the band obviously.

And for my action scoobies...

1. Lestat de Lioncourt (Vampire Chronicles).
2. Lyra Belacqua (His Dark Materials).
3. Destruction from Neil Gaiman's Sandman
4. TinTin (everyone needs a detective right?).
5 Fagin (from Oliver Twist - cos, you know, we'd need money and I enjoy a good sing song).

Who would you pick?

Aww, Fuffy goodness!
I've read only very very few books so my gang might sound weird. 😛

Jo March(Little Women) - The leader.
Charlie Weasley(Harry Potter) - Jo's boyfriend. 😀
Fleur Delacour(Harry Potter) - The bitca, but useful.
Sunny Baudelaire(A Series of Unfortunate Events) - Cutie.

I don't know who else to add. So I'll go with Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada. 😛

1. Luna Lovegood (HP)
2. Becky Bloom (The Secret Dreamworld Of A Shopaholic)
3. Allie (The Notebook)
4. Veronika (Veronika Decides To Die)
5. Hermione Grenger (HP)

1. Joe Pitt (joe pitt casebook series)
2. Roland Deschain (gunslinger series)
3. Repairman Jack (repairman jack series)
4. Lizzie Bennett (pride, prejudice and zombies)
5. Dallas Winston (the outisders)

Action Scoobies:
1.Harry & Dumbledore (HP)
2.Elizabeth Bennet (Pride & Prejudice)
3.Huck Finn & Tom Sawyer (The adventures of TS, The Adventures of HF)
4.Cathy and Heathcliff (Wuthering Heights)
5.Edward & Bella-vamp (Twilight,NM,Eclipse,BD)

Regular Scoobies:

1.Harry,Ron & Hermione
2.Becky Bloom (TSDOAS)
3.Nina (it's an italian book about a little girl dabbling with chemistry and potions and there's a really cool story behind it)
4.Emma Bovary (Madame Bovary)
5.Elizabeth Bennet

Aw Cathy and Heathcliff. Perfect duo. I was gonna go with Heathcliff myself but didn't have the room.

Emma and Elizabeth karma!

Interesting question. As for my "good ol' buddy" list:

1) Peter Pan
2) Ebenezer Scrooge (After his Christmas epiphany)
3) Dr Watson
4) Lazarus Long
5) Rudy Gunn

(I think that any or all of them would be fascinating to just sit down and talk with.)

And in my "s**t hits the fan" list (and where they come from, since most of you probably haven't heard of most of them. Just rest assured, they are without a doubt the baddest of the bad)

1) John Carter (From E R Burroughs' Mars series)
2) Casca, the Eternal Mercenary (From B Sadler's "Casca" series)
3) Ben Raines (From W Johnstone's "Ashes" series)
4) Bob Lee Swagger (From Stephen Hunter's series)
5) John Rourke (From J Ahern's "Survivalist" series)

Peter Pan is a great one!!! Now I feel like revising. It's so hard to get the group dynamic right.
Why is it that my 'regulars' would be the same as my 'action' hmm

1. Paul Brenner (Up Country/The General's Daughter/ Lion's Game)
2. Henry DeTamble (Time Travelers Wife)
3. Robin Hood
4. Ron Weasley
5. Cú Chulainn

I seriously need to read to find some quality female characters.

Joshlyn Jackson writes some great female heroines.

Try the Empress Star from Heinlein's "Glory Road." And then there's always Red Sonya.

Cu Chulainn Karma...Have you read his dark materials? The Golden Compass? Lyra's a kickass female.
GREAT idea!

my regular Scoobies:

1.Ron Weasly
2.Tjorven Grankvist (from Astrid Lindgren's "Seacrow Island", my favourite children's book in all the world)
3. Elizabeth Bennet
4. Claire Walsh (from Marian Keyes' "Watermelon")
5. Bridget Jones

my Action Scoobies:

1. Legolas
2. Sirius Black
3. Hermione Granger
4. Robin Hood
5. Aragorn

Cobbling together the second list was harder than I thought... I don't really read books with a lot of action I guess.

lol, Tjorven! :)
Oh interesting question, I'm thinking

1. Figaro - Dude's like a cat, always lands on his feet
2. Eric Northman - cause hey, foxy vampire guy always gets a spot on the team, plus he's not reckless like Lestat would be 😉
3. Dante - guy walks through purgatory and hell without so much as a flinch
4. Marquise de Merteuil - cause I just adore her wicked little heart

then either Jonathan Harker from Dracula or Anne Rice's Gabrielle. (or maybe Vicomte de Valmont)
