1. What's so bad about I Robot, You Jane? I just watched it, and it was fine by me...
2. I agree with Willow23 on Anne. BUT, it's not a bad episode. It's just not good. It's kinda in the middle.

It is pretty bad, but it is not worse than "when you kiss me I want to die" or "right now I'm just trying to keep from dying." Also, anytime Buffy says "girl to Willow. As in "you got it bad girl. Double Cringe.

I also didn't really like the story of The Freshman, because, well, seeing Buffy get kicked by some snide-ass *Sundae* vamp, well.... just lame. After all those fights with Faith in S-3, & she couldn't beat Sundae? Puh-leeeeze!!!!

I wasnt a fan of Beer Bad, Anne, The Puppet Show, or the Dark age.

Though I will say this even though I wasnt a fan of Anne I do think it was a neccessary episode. Not sure if that will make sense to others....but it does to me so thats all that is important.

I even prefer Beer Bad over the Dark Willow storyline lol

And I didn't mind I, Robot, You, Jane, but I haven't seen it in a while.
Anyway, in no particular order...

Where the Wild Things Are.
Bad Eggs.
Revelations. It's just so boring!
Consequences.
Dead Things.
And any of the other boring episodes.

I'm weird, though. Him is one of my favorite episodes, and I kind of liked Go Fish and Doublemeat Palace. I like the ones with stupid plots that are irrelevant to the storyline! XP

I want to die

It is pretty bad, but it is not worse than "when you kiss me I want to die".

I don't think it really worked, but I imagine it's supposed to show that Buffy somewhere deep inside has a very dark side and maybe even subconciously flirts with the idea of becoming a vampire herself (dying) and be with Angel.

This is tough because I do actually enjoy watching almost every episode of Buffy down the cheesy and ridiculous.

1. Listening to Fear -- I thoroughly dislike this episode and this was the easiest to choose. The demon is gross looking and Joyce being crazy-ish truly disturbs me. I think it just makes me sad for Joyce.
2. Beauty & the Beasts -- Despite this being important for Buffy knowing Angel was back, I didn't much care for the Jeckle & Hyde relationship. Plus, Scott is boring. Even Parker sparks more interest for me, haha.

4. Some Assembly Required -- Minus the Giles/Jenny cuteness lol.
5. Go Fish -- Xander in a speedo and Buffy breaking that guy's nose are the most redeeming qualities, lol.

I know that the line was meant to show that Buffy, at times, entertained the idea of self destruction, and had a concealed dark side. However, it was just so poorly done. It is just so melodramatic and not in a good way. It was awkwardly maudlin. Honestly, I feel like it is one of David Greenwalt's biggest blunders. I actually feel embarrassed fir the show when I hear that line.

In reverse order, because I felt like it... 😉

5) Reptile Boy - Some funny moments but generally the episode didn't work for me. Knowing too much about who the bad guys were right from the start took what little suspense there was away.

4) Teachers Pet - A few reasons for this but number one being the incredible naffness of the mantis special effects and the cheesy dialogue towards the end.

3) Living Conditions - Worked on some levels but way too much lame pop music. Cher's dance music phase gives me more nightmares than any vampire could manage.

2) Life Serial - Not sure if it's still in the season six section of the forum but there is a whole thread dedicated to why I don't like this episode. One of the few that failed on every level for me.

1) Doublemeat Palace - The only episode to top my dislike of Life Serial. I'm a great supporter of season six, for the most part, but the one aspect that didn't work for me was seeing Buffy working at the Doublemeat Palace. I absolutely hate fast food places like that and the last thing I wanted to see was the hero of my favourite show stuck in a crappy hat serving crappy food to people. That's not what I want to see from my favourite slayer, okay! 😉

Add that to possibly the worst demon to ever eppear on either Buffy or Angel and you get the one episode of the entire run of both shows that I actually have to force myself to watch.

Well, I agree. It's great that lines often mean more than they seem to on the surface in Buffy, but they should work on the surface, too, not sound like something the character would not say in that situation.
