This is the same concept as the other topic concerning BtVS. You put your top fifteen favorite scenes from Angel. Starting with #15 and going all the way down to #1(like a countdown). Here are mine.
#15 - The scene in 'Smile Time' where Puppet!Angel takes a sword and says 'Let's take out some puppet' followed by them walking in slow motion. Hahahaha love it!!
#14 - Cordelia going up - to heavens - and Angel going down the ocean at the end of 'Tomorrow'. Always liked the symbolism and I thought it was a brilliant way to end season three.
#13 - The scene I like to call 'Daddy is home!' 🙂 When Angel comes back to the Hotel after three months in the ocean in 'Deep Down' and does his speech to Connor.
#12 - Spike & Angel fight in 'Destiny'. Lots of emotion and all that for... a cup of Mountain Dew, lol!
#11 - Lindsey's EVIL hand in 'Dead End'. I'm talking of the scene at W&H where he pretty much start acting crazy, shooting someone, and pinching Lilah butt, lmao. My fav Lindsey scene.
#10 - Connor's arrival in 'The Price' followed by the fightning scene in 'A New World'(yes I put them together, since it was only cut to put a cliff hanger). Only time I thought Connor was bad ass.
#9 - Angel looking in the mirror in 'Spin The Bottle' and DB having some of his funniest expressions on both shows, hahaha. 'I'M INVISIBLE!!!!!!!!!!' followed by the vampire face/human face shifts. Hilarious!!
#8 - Angel speech to what was left of Angel Investigations at the end of 'Powerplay'. They finally all lift their hands in agreement. I just wish Cordy would have been there 🙁
#7 - Bangel scene at the end of 'IWRY'. When Buffy cries her heart out and they kiss. Bangel fan or not, this was really emotional and powerful! Love SMG acting in that scene.
#6 - Cangel last scene in 'You're Welcome' when Angel picks up the phone and realize Cordy never woke up. That was as emotional as the Bangel one, except that they were able to do it without anyone crying during the scene. You could just feel the emptyness that filled Angel when he put the phone down.
#5 - Faith & Angel fightning at the end of 'Five By Five'. Faith then having an emotional meltdown and asking Angel to kill her because she's bad. Very powerful scene. I love how it was raining, just like in my two favorite scenes on the show 😉
#4 - Angel, Wesley, Gunn & Lorne against the Beast in 'Apocalypse Nowish'. Probably the best fight scene on Angel and it was cool without being over the top. Wes particularily bad ass in that scene!
#3 - This scene is both awesome because I was totally shocked seeing it, but also because it's hilarious how easily Illyria kills them all. I'm obviously talking of the scene in 'Time Bomb' when she take care of Spike, Lorne, Wesley & Angel in a short moment! Spike got dusted before he could even finish his sentence, lmao.
#2 - Darla sacrificing herself for Connor at the end of 'Lullaby'. Alright, i'm not a big fan of Darla, or Dangel for that matter. But I was starting to like her around that episode, and when she stake herself, I was both shocked and sad. The whole scene is something worth watching! And again with the rain. 🙁
#1 - (Not Fade Away)The last scene of the show(fitting eh?). It all started in an empty street and that's where it ended. I picked this as my favorite scene because now that the time has passed, I can appreciate it more than I could the first time I saw it(I was kinda pissed). I actually really like how it ends. It's raining, an army of demons is marching towards them, Gunn is barely alive... It looks like they have no shot at it. But then they move toward the army and they start talking as if it was no big deal for them... 'Okay, you take the 30,000 on the left...' 'Well, personally, I kinda wanna slay the dragon.'. Then they end it on Angel's quote 'Let's go to work!'. Perfect!
