This might be fun. Give me a top ten list of character deaths in order of how much they affected you. Like here's mine -

1. Buffy (The Gift)

Darla (died to bring her Baby into the world gota love that)
Wes (Best. Death scene. Ever!)
Fred (sadest death ever)
Spike (also great death scene but he came back so it knocks it down a notch)
Lindsey (the wrong guy killed him)
Cordy (weirdest death scene ever)
Doyel (he died a hero... I mean him and Cordy so should have hooked up)
Buffy (cool death scene but you know she couldn't stay dead she was the star)Angel (only because I actuly shiped for Bangel for like ten minutes... weird)
Anya (Bunnies... no reason I just wished she didn't die)

10. Spike (he gets points knocked off for the whole "i love you" "no you don't" thing. God, man, take the girl at her word, willya!!!)

I don't know how it will be for you, but Cordy's was the saddest episode ever for me.
1.Doyle- Just wins by the real life passing of Glenn. TV death was stunning.
2.Lindsay- I thought it was real emotional how he was saying "Angel kills me"
3.Fred- Beautiful death, but worth it for Illryia
4.Wesley
5.Joyce- Painful realism
6.Cordy (s.5)
7.Tara
8.Eve (presuming she died)
9.Darla
10.Jenny
 
1. Joyce (only because of the The Body episode)
2. Fred (beautiful episode, oh so sad)
3. Anya (the only death I didn't know about until I saw it)
4. Wesley (was a favorite character when I saw it.. and I didn't really know he was going to die either)
5. Tara (mostly because I was such a huge Amber fan when I first saw it.. and because of what happened with Willow after that)
6. Buffy (such a sad episode, and I cry every time)
7. Jenny
8. Angel (wan't a fan of Angel but.. still.. sad..)
9. Spike
10. Doyle

2) Buffy in season 5 (I always cry 🙁) :unlove:

I can only think of 6, lol. Jenny isn't on the list because after watching it once I couldn't watch it again, so I can't remember it. : blush :
 
Im only counting characters that stayed dead, otherwise there would be too many to choose from

9. ben (purely because it made Giles a murderer)
10. veruca (because Oz had to kill her. then he left 🙁 )

I wanted to count Gunn, Spike and Illyria but wasnt sure what really happened at the end. They may have lived. Although I severely doubt Gunn did.

Oh ok, I get it now....I guess it could be affected positively or negatively.

1. Cordelia - it was such a shock, I mean she was there one minute, then all of a sudden the phone rings.
2. Buffy - the speech = tears
3. Joyce - it was just too real
4. Fred - too sad for words
5. Anya - kind of a shock and very brutal. When Xander calls for her I lose it.
6. Tara - sad death, although Willow's handling of it kind of takes away from it.
7. Doyle - just when things were getting good.
8. Wesley - after all he'd been through, you'd think he'd survive...
9. Spike - the scene is just amazing.
10. Jenny - another case of just when things were getting good.

I was SOOOO sad when both Spike AND Anya died!! I was practically on the floor balling!!! :cry2:
