It's Halloween time. TV Squad did this Top Ten list of all-time scariest TV characters of all-time.

Wanna try a top 10 list, just from Buffy/Angel?

Here's my choice for top 5.

# 1 The Gentlemen
# 2 Gnarl
# 3 I forget her name, but that Bat-woman demon from Angel who knew everybody's secrets.

Come to think of it. I'd put Evil Willow on my "scary" list as well. She just waved her hand, and skinned that schmuck alive. I was freaked when she was going after Dawn too.
 
i agree that gnarl was pretty darn creepy! with what he said and his voice and all! creepy! :: vampire

i cannot think of anyone on my own right now 😛.
 
All of the above mentioned demons are scary as heck. However, my vote for scariest deomon would have to be Kindestod (Season 2, Ep. 18). Maybe its because I was traumatized as a child by watching the Nightmare on Elm Street movies with my older brother. Kindestod looks like Freddy Kruger.

Hello... principal Snyder? I just recently began rewatching all episodes again this time with my girlfriend; this morning we watched his fabulous debut in "The Puppet Show"... c-r-e-e-p-y!!!

I also switch 3 & 4. Anya is scarier then the Ubervamp/Turok Han.

The gentle men were the scariest for me. Always smiling and the metal teeth and all..Creepy

It's been a while since I did an Angelthon. I can't remember demon names. Who were those ones who put the third eye in the back of Cordelia's head?

That doctor with the wandering body parts was kind of creepy too.

yeah that doctor was scary as hell
The guy from Nightmares with a bat for a hand really creeped me out when I first watched it!
 
I can't believe that no one has voted for Drusilla.

A hugely unhinged Vampire. The Train she arrived on the scene where she went after that child as well.

I would also say the Ghost Woman in RM W\A VU.
