Top 10 Bush Songs
I know most people couldn't care less about Bush and they've been said to be a Nirvana rip-off but I digress; Bush sounded (and still to this day sounds) better than Nirvana ever did. Nirvana is iconic but probably overrated while Bush is probably underrated at this point (especially since their last few albums have been very on point). Bush is getting better w/age like a fine wine. And Gavin Rossdales voice is so much smoother & sexier than Kurt Cobain- though both frontmen have emotional, dynamic voices.
1. Comedown iconic early/mid 90s grunge sound; can't really leave this out. Gavins voice flows over the melody and grungy bass to beautiful effect
2. Let Yourself Go slinky danceable glam rock banger! 🔥 when he says "it's time to move, it's time to dance" in the second verse(1:55)... I'm obsessed.
3. More Than Machines I love the strong, aggressive beat mixed with some glam studio polishes. And the lyrics; I love when he sings "you are everything to me" and the basic concept of the song that humans are actually superior to man made machines.
4. Chemicals Between Us Like Comedown,this may seem like an obvious choice but I still love the melody of the chorus & the sexy pulse of this song
5. Out Of This World Not just because it was used in BTVS (Dead Things) though that certainly helps; it's just so beautifully haunting and of course, interesting lyrics like a lot of Bush songs
6. Creatures of The Fire Their '22 album Art of Survival is amazing and this quieter, tender yet powerful track is one of the brighter spots.
7. Letting the Cables Sleep The lyrics, his voice, instrumentation & first verse and bridge into the chorus is just everything to me.
8. Heavy is the Ocean It's so epic. I love the lyrics. Makes me feel like we're living in the 90s again.
9. Shark Bite I didn't care for it at first but came to realize how great it is; such a bad ass sexy vibe w/killer lyrics to boot
10. Dangerous Love Makes me want to hit the road with my lover and drive off into the sunset w/the top down

I love authentic 90s alt rock, grunge..but Razorblade Suitcase is not my favorite album including Greedy Fly. Alien from Sixteen Stone is so much more dreamy & composed better imo.

Misery's great. The only thing that jarred with me was when it went inside the novel within the novel. I was enjoying the characters so much outside of that, but I get why it did it.

It was a toss up at the top. Billy edges Stu just because I like the reveal and subversion. Those who know me might be surprised I put Roman as high as I did. Despite hating the storyline and hating Scream 3 in general, its fair to say the actor did a decent job and fitted the role quite well. I will probably update this list after Scream 6 😉
