Yay, Gwen loves Jack!!
I felt a bit impatient at the beginning of the episode, especially when Ianto was being fed those memories of killing people. It was like, can you just hurry up and figure it out already. I loved the flash backs to Jack's past. They were really well brought into the show.
I can't wait for next week episode when Martha shows up!! That looks great!

Next weeks ep 'Reset' is great! - I watched it on BBC Three after 'Adam' aired. :)
next week's ep is AWESOME! i won't post any spoilers, but it was SO good.
the scenes wioth Adam and Ianto were awful to watch. aside from Jack, Ianto is my favorite character. it was awful to see him in this much pain, being forced to think that he'd killed those girls. butr i liked that Ianto's own personality stayed true. i think Adam was trying to make him think that he enjoyed killing those girls, but Ianto is too much of a good hearted person to think like that. i'm glad he confessed to Jack. and i loved that Jack trusted him enough to not believe he was capable of something like this. that was the reason Jack started questioning Adam's presence, his relastionship with Ianto, which, as a Jack/Iant shipper, made me all happy, lol.
did anybody else love Owen in this ep? how cute was he?! i just wanted to hug him! pining away for Tosh like a little puppy, and bringing her flowers! AW!! and the real Owen's little smile for Tosh at the end was so cute. 😀

This weeks episode was great!! Jack seemed a lot more relaxed with Martha around and I'm glad they spoke about the Doctor and their last meeting. It was so cute what happened between Tosh and Owen, they are just very adorable! I loved that he kept saying 'But I'm still going to flirt.' lol I thought that Gwen wasn't in this episode a lot. What she was in I liked. She connected very well with Matha.
I was so shocked at what happened at the end!! I hope they fix that!!

THERE BE SPOILERS FOR RESET IN THIS POST SO DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW OWEN WAS SHOT
I'm sorry, but if we're going to talk about the episode, we should be able to freely.
If you come into this thread the day after an episode, expect spoilers.
Anyway, on to the episode.
I loved the episode. As soon as Tosh and Owen had their scene, I knew something was going to happen though, Russell is obviously a Whedonist(my new term for an Anti-Hedonist which is what Whedon is with his characters) so it wasn't a complete shock.
It did upset me though because i was really getting to like Owen.
I hope they use that Glove next week for have a moment between Tosh and Owen. That will kill me but I'll love it.
I was a bit annoyed with the devices. It just seems like they bring something in to use in one episode and thats bull crap. Why couldn't Owen have found the doo hickey a couple of weeks ago and tried to use it then last night would have been a bit more believable.
Having said that, that was my ONLY problem with the episode.
I love the UNIT reference, I love Martha, I love the whole Ianto-Red Hat-Jack thing and I loved the end no matter how sad it made me.

i LOVED the Own/Tosh stuff. i'd never been a really big fan of either of them, but their little scene was great. it seems like Tosh as kept some of the confidence Adam gave her, she never would have told Owen she was asking him out on a date last year. i thought it was so cute when Owen said yes, but he was still gonna flirt.
not so keen on the Martha stuff. i've never watched Dr. Who, so i have no idea who she is other than taking Billie Piper's place on the show. the references to the Unit were lost on me.
but the Jack/Ianto red cap scenes were awesome (fangirly moment)

Naaa Wait till nexts eek eppy or watch Iplayer on the bbc site which is how I catch up rather than record them!
I liked this eppy, and much as the "doohicky" as Al called it seemed like a convenient plot device they sorta got away with it in my book because I was wanting Martha to live! (even though you know she does survive TW I forgot when watching that scene for a second!)
Dead man Walking was ace expect some funny but gross scenes!

The 'there's nothing, just darkness' when you die really sucks. When you look at things it would seem more likely but to hear that from someone who just died is scary and to know he's going into nothingness :cry: that would suck but idk if he is or not atm because the gloves seems to have brought him back for longer than it should have. I'm happy he's alive, and dead at the same time. 9 minutes in.
Oh sh*t he looks like he's slipping back into the darkness :cry: Now someTHING is taking him over. Damn it sucks to be Owen :cry: Why does all these bad things keep happening to him. 16 minutes in.
The whole club thing looks stupid. 18 minutes in. and lol it really sucks to be Owen
"Special needs more like it" :silly: even the sad scenes are funny. 20 minutes in.
Eww Owen threw up all the beer he drank. That is one the most disgusting..eww. 22 minutes in.

OK, I made a point that writing about an episode after its terrestrial premiere should be allowed, particularly in a thread about the show, but this is just plain rude.
There are people that wait with anticipation for the airing on terrestrial TV(I only count country of origin as I would not go onto a Desperate Housewives thread the day after it aired in the US and complain that I had read spoilers) and would come into this thread and discuss the episodes they had just watched.
This is 'next weeks' episode and you didn't even have the manners to put it in spoilers.

Lmao I never wrote spoilers before I even stopped myself last time but after I read your lovely post I felt free to talk about the episode I just saw.
Now ask yourself what kind of person highlights something making people read about a spoiler like that and you call me rude. I was just doing what you said. I'm sorry if you feel differently and I apologize for spoiling you. I didn't know it was next weeks episode.

ok, for future reference...if you watching the eps on BBC iPlayer, then your always going to be one in front of the current episode shown on terrestrial television (BBC2)

I didn't read it because I knew it was a spoiler passed the point of terrestrial episodes.
The common board etiquette is to put Spoilers that is beyond what has aired terrestrially in country of origin.
Point is there are are other people that COULD have read it.
Your argument that I should have stopped is also flawed. If that was a just argument then the site designer wouldn't have added the spoiler tags option.
