tough job getting back

Hi all, I've been lost in the wilderness for the past 12 months and decided to come back to the buffy boards. I joined last christmas 2002, just to ask a specific question about vampire prosthetics and costumes. I got a few good replies. Well, in the end I didn't dress as a buffy character for my fancy dress party because I couldn't find a suitable prosthetic selling website here in the U.K.

So, for the past year, I've been busy watching buffy series 7 and lately I've been busy watching the new Angel series 5 up to episode 8. I won't spoil anything for those that haven't seen them yet.

Anyway, I'd forgotten my password and the "Have you lost your password" thingy is broken.

I used the lost password link to get an email sent to me and I got an email which said Click this link to reset your password, which I did and got a page saying "The address that you have used to request a new password is not valid. Please request a new address be sent to you by using this form" aaah!

I tried that and got stuck in a loop.

So in the end I eventually remembered my password and here I am whingeing already. 🙂

I'm still looking for that elusive website that will sell me an Angel/Buffy prosthetic face mask and i'll start a thread in a more appropriate part of the boards.

Well...I guess I will give you a nice big WELCOME BACK as well! Hope you decide to stay with us this time. This really is a great place and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as we do. Good to have ya back. 🙂
 
The same thing happened to me! Well, not the whole lost in the wilderness thingy, but I also got stuck in a loop when I registered!
 
well, I tried to email faith@buffy-boards.com, because I had that address in my received mailbox. I must have got a mail from her when the board was hacked and I got a mail back saying mailbox unavailable.
On the front page of the Buffy boards I can see the contact us link at the bottom I missed it when I was looking for it earlier. tut.

Anyway, I had to think really hard and I remembered my old password.

Welcome back, I'm back as well after months of not being here. Good luck finding your prosthetics.
 
Welcome back! Sounds like you've had a tough time, so take a load off and relax here at the boards! 🙂
