Do you have any weird town urban legends?

I live in a big town in Northern New Jersey, but there are only two things I can think of. There's Ogopogo (that's what we named it). It's a giant turtle that lives in the lake in the pond in the middle of town, lol. People always see ducks swimming in the lake and then one will suddenly go under and people just suspect it's getting food, but after 20 minutes and the thing doesn't come back up, you know somethings wrong. That's a stupid one, lol, but hey. The other one is the Satanic Church that's located in the woods near my house. People say there is a Satanic Church in the back of the woods. It's a known fact that cult members used to meet back there and some people say they built a church. Some people have claimed to have seen the church, but others say it doesn't exist. I've looked out at the woods from this bridge and thought I saw a the door to the church, but upon further investigating, I couldn't find where the door was. It's probably just an odd tree formation or something. A lot of bad stuff happens in those woods like child molestation and beatings/murder.

There's a big website for all the supernatural legends in the whole New Jersey area. http://www.weirdnj.com/home/index.html some of the things on there freaked me out.

So, your town have any urban legends?

Erm...no lol. When I was six my cousin told me a Witch lived in the woods behind her house. But suprisingly that wasn't true.

nada. zip. zilch. my town is boring as a tumbleweed. nothing here. cept for really old ppl. although there is a bar on almost single street in town. sometimes more. coal town. the town over, has a haunted jail, i'm not sure if it's an urban legend but...there is a handprint of one of the men they hanged. he said that if he was innocent that the print wouldn't leave. they've painted over it and still a print. mom totally got the heebie jeebies in the dungeon thing...shes a lil..thing...
wait...uncles here. info.
train station 11 molly maguire ghosts, biggest mass execution in the country, jack kahoe(sp?) buried here, lead the mollies, the elks, that's haunted, and simon jefferson supposedly related to thomas jefferson, black barber (which in this town highly surprising but maybe the town's devolved. i'm not big on this town.), who lived in the same county as john wilkes booth, and apparently jwb came here a week or so before and told simon who tried to go stop and obviously failed, cuz lincoln's dead. there might be more i dunno but...
old miner haunting a road, a drummer boy haunting from revolutionary war

theres more hauntings than actual urban legends. i'm sure if talked to kids there'd be more, but seeing as the amount of drugs and the types of drugs kids do...i'm not sure...

All right then.

In the girls' bathroom of the summer camp my dad sends me to every summer, there are a lot of weird things that have been said to happen in it... The kids are probably just making up stories, though. My friend says that she heard some noise in the next stall, but when she walked out of her stall and looked in the other one, no one was there. When I was in that bathroom stall, I heard a faucet running and as soon as I got out, there was no one there. Also, on the ceiling of the bathroom, it looks like there's dried blood spattered up there. The halls and rooms surrounding the bathroom are kinda dark and creepy, too.

I think there are a lot more urban legends about where I live, but I'm not reading them 'cause they scare me. *shivers*
