Interview with E! Online:

Exactly how outlandish do you have to be to stun and amaze Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick)?
Georgina Sparks is back on Gossip Girl, and when E! News caught up with her on the set, Michelle Trachtenberg revealed, "We're filming a scene that's actually the first time we see Georgina. She has a little run-in with Chuck Bass, who is in shock and awe at her new attire and getup and demeanor." Looky loos on the set spied a less-glamazony Georgina than the one we remember from last year"”could she have been the victim of a tragic makeunder, or is something more extreme afoot?

Here's what we're hearing about Georgina's shocking transformation (watch out for spoilers), along with her relationships with ex-lover Dan and sworn enemy Blair...

According to our spies, the big Chuck-Georgina reunion happens in the park when Chuck comes upon a group of oddly dressed people at a log cabin. The assembled young people are all wearing T-shirts that read "OMJC," and one asks Chuck, "Are you a wayward soul in search of direction?" Right about then a hippie-looking, creepy, smiley and altogether weird-seeming Georgina pops up and asks if Chuck's been saved as well.
OMFG. (Or should that be OMJC?!)

Has G been brainwashed by a cult?

Michelle says, "I think there are definitely evil elements that Georgina can never leave behind, but you will be seeing a different, let's say reformed, side of Georgina."

Madness! Now, what will this mean for Georgina's relationships with the rest of the Upper East Siders? According to Michelle, "Georgina has some unfinished business with Blair (Leighton Meester), but how that's going to transpire, I'm not sure. Could be a handshake, could be a fistfight, could get wild and crazy, and seeing as how we left Dan (Penn Badgley) and Georgina, there were some crazy sparks a brewin'. I'm sure there will be fireworks."

G's ep count remains up in the air, but little-known fact: She's been lurking on set this whole time. Michelle teases, "I've actually been in all of them. I've been in the background of certain scenes, so I did about 25 episodes. It's become an Internet funsies game, spot the hidden Georgina. I'm totally kidding! I can't actually say how many episodes [I'll be in], but it will definitely be filled with a lot of fantastic, juicy details and elements."

She ain't kidding! What do you think of this cult-y turn for G? Totally inspired or totally jump the shark?

Exclusive: Trachtenberg Spills "Gossip" | E! Online

This from SpoilerTV, more about Michelle's role:

"Forget that ho-hum Oscar nomination. Now Anne Hathaway has something even cooler to brag about: her very own Gossip Girl plot!

Sources confirm to me exclusively that the show is planning a season-ending story line loosely inspired by the actress' infamous (and fizzled) romance with Italian grifter Raffaello Follieri, who was convicted last October on 14 counts of wire fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy. In the world of Gossip Girl, Blake Lively's Serena will play the unsuspecting ingenue who falls for a handsome European socialite -- in this case a hunk named Giorgio (casting is under way).

Though she won't confirm or deny the story's Hathaway-esque twists, executive producer Stephanie Savage reveals that Serena's beau is "very well-traveled, part of the global elite. He's not a brooding artist like Dan or Aaron rose. He's definitely a grown-up, and that's something Serena is very attracted to."

Word is that GG's version of the story will take a turn that is so much darker than the Hathaway saga that it ultimately puts Serena's life in danger. Moreover, it triggers the return of Michelle Trachtenberg's Georgina Sparks and casts our heroine's sworn frenemy in the unlikely role of savior.

What do you guys think? Is GG smart to be ripping stories from the headlines? Or are you annoyed that so early in its run, its writers are already cribbing plotlines from the tabs? Sound off below. (You first, Anne.)"

LMFAO...the psycho bitca is back!

I personally can't wait...it is garunteed to be hilarious at the very least.

Not loving the GG single white femaling Anne Hathaway's real life angst though. Seems cheap and tacky...even for GG.

Thanks dude! But I dont think she changed. Even she did, she will change back. 😀

Michelle did that a lot since Dawn in s8 🙂

No way! If she's good, what the point tho bring her back?

Well, it says in the spoiler that she ends up saving Serena. A new leaf! But maybe it's unintentional, who knows? 😉

Woot woot! I'm excited for Michelle's return, hopefully it'll be on the March 16th episode. 😉

Also, did anyone else hear that No DOubt will be on the show? I think it is the second last episode.
Not a band I thought I would ever see on GG.

Yes, the 2nd to last episode will serve as the backdoor pilot for the spin-off of the show.

Spin-off for who? A bit early to be starting spin-off's isn't it?

It's going to be set in the 80's, about Lily's teenage self. Brittany Snow has been cast as the younger Lily. It'll be about her and her sister. No Rufus for a few seasons, though.

Here is more info on No Doubt and the spin-off, sweetie! 🙂

Sources confirm that the CW is in advanced talks to bring Cynthia Watros (Lost) and Andrew McCarthy (Lipstick Jungle) onboard the Gossip Girl spinoff tentatively titled Lily. Cynthia and Andrew would play CeCe and Rick Rhodes, Lily's parents and Serena's grandparents. (Caroline Lagerfelt plays CeCe on the current series.)

With mom and pop cast, the producers have now filled out the starting regular-castmember lineup for Lily. Yay!

And some more good news for us dual Gossip Girl-Veronica Mars fans: Reps for Ryan Hansen (Veronica Mars, Party Down) confirm that he will also hook up with Lily in the '80s, reportedly as one of her new Valley pals.

Already onboard and previously announced:

* Brittany Snow (American Dreams, Nip/Tuck) will be young Lily Rhodes. (Kelly Rutherford plays her on the current series as a grown, much-married woman)
* Shiloh Fernandez is set to play Owen, a possible love interest for Lily.
* Our girl Krysten Ritter (Veronica Mars, Breaking Bad) will be Lily's wild-child older sister Carol.

Also appearing in the "backdoor pilot" episode airing May 11 is No Doubt, playing themselves in the 1980s before Gwen Stefani went solo, back when they were just kids.

Oh, and more... You know you want to, Kean! 🙂

Serena's father revealed?

"One Tree Hill" alum Matt Barr has been cast in the CW's "Gossip Girl" spinoff as Keith van der Woodsen, a rich and handsome Malibu prince who is the love interest to Lily Rhodes (Brittany Snow).

Set in 1980s Los Angeles, the "Gossip Girl" spinoff chronicles Lily's wild teen years.

While the producers of the WBTV/Alloy project wouldn't give more clues about the Keith character, speculation is that he could be Lily's future husband (Lily's married name is Lily van der Woodsen) and father of Serena van der Woodsen.

Barr, repped by Pakula King and Luber Roklin, next appears on CBS' limited series "Harper's Island."
