Does anyone know anything about how to build a wall?

The wall in my room was built very poorly. A week ago I was hanging out with my friends and I bumped into the wall. It started to crack, spread across the whole wall, and layers started falling out. I asked my parents for help to rebuild it. Of course, as you all know, my father is abusive so of course he's not going to help me and he's not supplying me with money either. I have to tear down and rebuild a wall by myself with no knowledge of how to use tools...except a hammer. I'm the real man of the house anyway so I should be learning how to do this I guess, but what 16-year-olds do you know that are forced to tear down walls and rebuild them? I could get splinters...and die...

So, does anyone know how to tear down or rebuild a wall without bringing the roof down? LoL

I wouldn't go tearing the wall down just yet. Chances are the studding (wood framing) is fine, it's just the drywall/plaster that's crumbled. Check to see if the wall wobbles when you shake it (gently!!!!!). If it seems solid, all you need to do is replace the old drywall with new sheets of drywall. Check it out and get back to me...you know how...either here or elsewhwere!

I put my hand up against a random place on the wall, away from the cracks, and it wobbled...and cracked somemore. I think I'm gunna get a hammer and just start smashing things to pieces.
